I’m wearing an ivory lace dress from Alfred Angelo and I was wondering what color my flower girl should wear.
We already decided that the guys would have white shirts with grey jacketless tuxes, the bridesmaids are wearing mint and aqua, and the tablecloths will be white, as is the arch, etc.
So should my flowergirl wear ivory to match me or white to match everyone else?
(I was also thinking of having her wear a yellow sash with her dress, so if that changes anything, let me know!)

@nyan-nyan: My dress was ivory and I had my flower girls wear ivory. Since they were somewhat close to me, I wanted them to match. We did these with a different colored sash. This lady was a dream to work with. Everything ruffles on etsy. She sent me samples of the different colors so that I could pick the exact look I wanted.

I didn’t have a flower girl so my two cents might not make sense but I think if she matched the bridesmades and wore the yellow sash that might be nice. Wearing white would clash woth you I think.

@Britt214: Those are so insanely cute!
@nyan-nyan: If she is in white it will make your dress look darker/more yellow in contrast. So I think ivory is probably best if you want your dress to look white, otherwise it doesn’t matter much either way.

@nyan-nyan: My daughters are in th wedding and I didn’t like that all the ‘flower girl’ attire was white/ivory. This is what they will be in…Bright and sunny, like little girls are!

I think either mint or ivory. White shirts are standard for a tux, and generally you don’t match other things to them.
You could either go with a color to match the bridesmaids or an ivory to match your dress. I personally thing it is adorable when the flowergirl coordinates the bride (and I think the little girls LOVE it too)

What is a jacketless tux? Are you saying the men are wearing a vest and tuxedo pants?

My flower girl will be in white to match my dress.

@julies1949: Yes, the guys are just wearing a vest and pants.
@LDay1983: Where did you get that dress! I’d love something like that in yellow!!

Confirming that white flower girl dresses muddy up an off-white gown.
My llittle one is wearing bright pink. My Maid/Matron of Honor and she picked out the color together.
