I have exactly the same color for my girls bridesmaid dresses... we are having orange and gold and so far its working out really well..
You could do apple red and blue? that looks really sweet.
My first thought was gold. Sunflowers, anyone?
You could also do black. I love red and black together. It looks fancy without trying. It might look off with the grooms vest/tie though.
My sister did red and white...but that was back in '94. It probably could look nice, but I have reoccuring nightmares of the puffy sleeves on my dress.
One of my coworkers daughters got married in October of last year and her colors were a deep red and a royal purple. They looked beautiful together, very fall, and there are zillions of flower options.
Red and black could be super sexy, red and white or red and aqua is very summery I think. Good luck!

I vote red and purple OR have you seen the bright red with a bright apple green? It sounds ridiculous but looks kind of edgy and pretty together :) Check theknot.com, I think its under their color-combos.

Create the honeymoon of your dreams.
So I wanted a deep red for my bridesmaids, but they ended up deciding on a brighter red. I'm not sure what colours go best with that. Do any of you bees have any ideas. I want to make the red only an accent color and not the main theme. My dress is ivory and the men will be in black suits with ivory shirts. The groom has chosen a gold/tan colored vest and tie. I need to know what other colors for the linen, chair ties, flowers etc etc. Thanks in advance.
