    I voted charcoal, not because it’s in your “theme” but because it’s the color that I feel the majority of people would enjoy. If they aren’t super “girly,” then pink doesn’t seem to fit. Lilac is also a very “girly” color and charcoal is much more neutral.

    I second what AmeliaBedilia said. I think charcoal will be your best bet and it would be the color I’d most like to wear.

    I think Charcoal would be better anyways, because pastels will show wear and dirt easier and depending on the material could be a little see-through. Also some people don’t look as good in pastels, but charcoal tends to be more flattering.

    My guess is that you’re getting the robes to be worn for the getting ready part of the day, right? With pictures of you guys all in matching robes? Quite honestly — as long as you know that none of your bridesmaids will HATE the color you would like best for the photos, choose that color. No one who would otherwise integrate the robe into their daily routine is going to refuse to on account of the color, unless it’s a really unusual or unflattering color. Gray, lilac and pink would all be totally fine colors. It sounds like you like the idea of lilac, and so unless you know that someone HATES lilac or LOVES charcoal, go with what seems right to you. 🙂

    ETA: Although PPs are making a very strong argument for the practicality of charcoal… 😉

    @AmeliaBedelia:  agreed.
    Im not girly too so i would prefer charcoal. But I would be ok with lilac. Pink not so much.
