The light blue and yellow combination on the brim were very striking to me... perhaps something along that scheme? Reminds me of a sunset
Or maybe ditch co-ordinating with his uniform and look to the venue instead. Dig up photos of it during the time of year you plan on marrying and take inspiration from the colors you see there... or set a "theme" and use colors based on that.
I agree...blue and yellow would look great together. Since you're doing it on the beach you could always just do lots of white. I think for bm dresses a yellow would look great or even navy.
Just used a couple of online color generators ... try these specific combinations. I've mostly used yellow as the main color, blue as secondary sage and gold/bronze as accents.
The next one is breezy white-based... the colors are not too dark
This is mainly blue based... if you dont want to include too much yellow
And this palette is for the guys ... pick any of these to match up against chosen colors from the above palettes, I'm partial towards the greys myself as it help offset a bright combination without dulling the colors

Wow! Thanks so much, you guys are right, I may have to go with blue and yellow. He won't be wearing the hat much, and I really don't like yellow, but I may have to go that route anyway.. What does anyone think of gold, silver, and dusty blue.. or gold silver and dark pink?
Won't black and blue kind of class though?
How about pewter, light dusty blue, and champagne?
OR
Light sky blue, white, silver, sand, and a pop of dark pink?
I kind of feel like there should be a pop of color...
but I want to shy away from black because I think it may clash with his suit.

Nah they didn't clash. In fact, here's my husband and I in our wedding attire. I don't have a big group photo at work.

I dunno, officers have a lot of black on their uniforms anyways. They had black bow ties and cords and other doo dads. The groom was an officer, too. Honestly, they had so much crap on their uniforms (tours of Iraq will do that for ya!) we could've worn green and still matched, haha.
Here's another one. She wore a black gown to a ball and he wore his uniform.

My FI is wearing his blues in the wedding, as well as his army friends/groomsman but I honestly never thought about color coordinating to his uniform. My colors are pale pink, chocolate, gold, and ivory and from the planning we've done, it'll all look great. Do you have any ideas about colors without trying to coordinate? Try thinking about what colors you like and what kind of vision you have and see how that works. All the color schemes you bees have come up are lovely, just another persepctive!
I was just looking at this again and I really love the royal blue and the gold with yellow, so sharp and so classy! I love the inspiration board!!

My fiance is dressing in his Blue Class A army uniform. What colors can I coordinate with it? My wedding is going to be in the summer, evening, on the beach.
