sage would definitely go with brown and those colors. pretty much imagine nature's colors and anything will go. for fall colors, i'd def go for richer colors than red, for example, cabernet reds or for oranges, burnt orange. Anything you can imagine with fall leaves and you will get a good color combo. Good Luck!
I think the sage sash would look great with brown and those flowers. I LOVE Gerber Daisies and you can go all different colors or have each girl hold each a different color, it is really up to your personal choice. I would look into wrapping the flowers with the sage green ribbon or brown ribbon. Then the flowers take center stage and not the ribbon.
I think you have some great colors going! I also agree with melbride that the deep reds and burnt oranges are great for a fall wedding.
the sash would look great! just like melbride said, all those colors happen in nautre together anyway.
it sounds like having each bm carry a different color would look good. i think those colors are perfect for a fall wedding!
(i may be biased as i am having a fall wedding too with a fall pallete of chocolate, burnt orange, and warm metallics)
Thanks Everyone!! Great to hear some suggestions! I will definately go with the cabernet red and burnt oranges...Now I'm wondering about tuxes.... Is black tuxes okay and how would I incorporate the brown and sage green???
I think the brown dresses with a green sash also sound lovely. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding where the girls wore chocolate brown dresses and the guys still wore black suits/tuxes. Since both brown and black are both neutrals you can put them together even though most people think they are exclusive to each other. I would suggest that their bouttainiere be wrapped in the green ribbon or brown ribbon or both-why not do a skinny layer of green ribbon on top of brown, wrapping the flower? I think that would be very nice :)
Hey, you're my date twin! :)
I love brown and sage. I'm having similar color issues at the moment. I wanted to do moss green and orange, but my brother and my dad will be wearing kilts for the wedding and I just got a swatch of the tartan. The green is a lot brighter than I thought, and now I'm not sure what I'll do. There's blue in the tartan too, so I might go for blue and green, but that kind of wrecks the fall look, and I want to leave myself with some decent options for flowers and decorating.
Who knew this color thing would be so complicated!
the sage sash is going to look gorgeous with the brown dresses!!

Hi, I am getting married October 4th and is wondering what to do about my colors. I want to go with chocolate brown dresses and I am having gerber daisies in red, yellow, orange, and dark pink. I was jut wondering if adding a sage green ribbon around the waist would look okay on brown dresses and would it go with the flowers I'm having?? Another idea I had was having brown bridesmaid dresses with different color gerbers for each bridesmaid (there will be 4) and having a ribbon to match the color they will be holding. The men will also be wearing a gerber on their tux to match each and I will be holding a bouquet of all the colors. Which idea do you think will be best?? Or do anyone have any other suggestions for a fall wedding.
Thanks!
