Hi there, I am Mac. I am getting married on 09-19-09! I love the number 9 and have wanted to get married in this year since I was young! Well, I would love to get some input on how to wear my hair and what colors would accent my dress... my dress is from Mary's Bridal... here is the link

Hi Mac,

I am also a 9-19 bride! The dress is very lovely and in my mind it has a very romantic feel. So, I would say that silver/grey because of the beading. I would also go for pastels that won't detract from the dress such as lavender, pink, baby blue, ivory/cream, etc. Great choice!

I totally see that as a Cinderella dress so I see powder blue and silver - and a night time wedding because it's so elegant!

Do you have long hair? What about an up do with some curls hanging down? Or just totally up?

What are you doing about your head piece?

Thanks a lot for helping me!! I never thought about the powder blue but I am going to take a look at some vendors! Yes, my hair is mid-back length and I plan on having a tiara and no veil. Well, I may have a veil, but it will depend on the hair!

Gorgeous dress...personally I'd stick to colors similar to the model. I feel like colored jewelry or a hairpiece might compete with the dress. I'd stay with silver/diamond for jewelry and hair, but maybe push the make up toward a bolder palette along with the bouquet and shoes. I think deep, electric blue shoes could be stunning...or my favorite would be to stick with the purples the model has in her bouquet.
