A month or so ago I found a bump (feels like a pimple) on my dog’s neck. I took her to the vet and she said we could do a biopsy of it, but she didn’t seem immediately concerned. Since then I’ve found two more of these bumps on her (not in the same spot, just randomly on her body), and the original bump is bigger.
Any ideas what these could be? She isn’t lacking energy at all, and she still has a good appetite. The bumps appear to be under the skin (meaning they’re not coloured or anything).

Could be anything really. It is hot outside, could be clogged pores, some sort of irritation, mild bites from an insect.

One of my mom’s dogs used to have these. They were benign fatty cysts. They didn’t bother him, but as he got older he got more.

@JoJo Bananas: my parents’ dog gets these too, it’s ridiculous. she has one that’s really big that has another one on top of it even! it looks like she has tons of tumors but they’re just fat deposits

Maybe they are bug bites?

Google lipoma. Our family dogs have had these and they are usually harmless.

Do they feel like a bump ON the skin, like a bug bite or pimple might feel or like a round lump UNDER the skin. Lipomas, or benign fatty tumors, feel like circular lumps under the skin. Papillomas on the other hand, feel like bumps ON the skin.

My dog gets these. The vet said theyre skin cysts. Once they get huge, they’ll rupture nasty pus all over, but thats takes a long time. Not really a big deal.
