I don't want my lame ability to interpret charts to skew the results, so I'm not voting, I just want to say - You are hilarious and we all love you:)
I'm sticking to my guess of CD 34. I agree with jholler too, you can always make me laugh and we DO love you :)
Yeah, when I charted, I didn't get it either. Good thing my dr told me that I don't have to chart if I don't want to. She said to just look for EWCM.
Does anyone know if those ovulation strips are accurate? I'm considering buying some for when we TTC.
not even reaching 98 degrees is pretty low overall... Have you ever had a cycle where you did clearly ovulate and surpass 98 degrees after that? (sorry, I dont know much about PCOS. Is the extra-low temp an issue with it?)
@joy2011:That's an interesting question. Does anyone know if the low temps have to do with PCOS? My temps never go above the 97's either. I usually have a few day of high 96 degree temps each cycle too!
ETA: Yepp PCOS does affect it. Interesting. Apparently the higher estrogen brings down the temps. According to Dr. Google :)
My guess is CD24 because you had a relatively large jump after having consistent temps for quite a number of days.
I accidentally voted incorrectly--I voted did not ovulate.
I think you ovulated on Day 33/34!
I say this b/c a lot of women have a dip right before they ovulate and if you put your thumb on that temperature, it clearly looks like you ovulated especially given the CM!
EDIT: It wouldn't suprise me thought if your body was gearing up to ovulate on Day 24 but decided not to and then ovulated Day 33/34!
@Running Elley: I have PCOS and I have low temps but I think it's because of my thyroid, not the PCOS. Many women with PCOS have low thyroid function.
I don't think you're a dork, but I don't think you ovulated. :( I think your body tried really hard to, but PCOS is a mother effer and makes it super difficult. If you didn't a true positive OPK, I doubt you did. I only say this because I've had for real positive OPKs and get super excited only to have my doctor tell me later that I probably (or definitely) didn't ovulate in spite of it. And I totally got my period after those, too. Sorry, girl. Hopefully they will get you on some clomid or femara soon when you go to your RE appointment in a couple weeks!
ETA: I have low temps, too. In the 96s and low 97s always. BLAH.
@joy2011: Good point. I have never hit 98o, actually (NICK LACHEY I LOVE YOU) - in fact, I temp in celcius (hello, Australia!) and then convert to Fahrenheit on the website I use. But no, I've never gone that high. Is that weird?
@Running Elley: DAMN. Another useless symptom that's irritating about PCOS. *head desk*
@beekiss: Interesting - thanks for the perspective!
I'm going to my RE next month (Oct 19, hurry up) so I'm fairly sure he'll be doing thyroid checks as well.
@bunny: Darn. It's ok - despite the temp rising/dips and super faint ovulation test, I have a horrible feeling I'm still not ovulating too.
I'm going to print out my massive pile of charts and dump them on the RE's desk before pretty much demanding he get me pregnant. No pressure, or anything.
I'm definately no expert, but when I was reading TCOYF (because I'm a dork.) I read about removing outlier temps from your chart as they can obscure your 'true' reading. For this chart, you might remove days 6 and 12, and draw instead a dotted line from 5-7 and 11-13. I can't remember exactly what it said, but I'm sure if you read it it might help with smoothing over some of the huge spikes in temp earlier in your chart even if just for ease of reading.
I don't think any of that made sense, nor did it answer your question. Sorry. I've been thinking of you though and wishing you and Mr. Jag all the best in TTC. Maybe you should take a trip to those magic fertile waterfalls up North that Nicole Kidman credits as the reason she concieved Sunday?
@Roux: awww, you're not a dork! :-) Every woman should read TCOYF, just to understand her own body!
@Roux: You are NOT a dork. TCOYF is a great resource! Though there are lots of things in there that don't relate to my cycle since it's PCOS-buggered.
Maybe we SHOULD!? haha. :) Thanks ladies!
You may have answered this in one of our previous infertility threads, but has your doctor suggested a progesterone check? That way, after you think you may have ovulated, you could go in for some bloodwork to make sure. And, on the days that you think you did, do it with your hubby just in case! As a fellow PCOSer I've thought about doing that now that I'm not actively TTC just to see if I'm ovulating on my own w/ Metformin and Vitex.
@Candy_Nee: My doc doesn't want to deal with preg-related things (she's just a GP) so she's referred me to a specialist. BUT I don't get to see him until October 19. I will bring up this with him and hopefully he can get this on one of his priorities to check.

So, the lovely jholler & I were chatting in another thread.. and thought it'd be interesting to see if you can use my chart to attempt to pinpoint ovulation this month.
To give you a quick history:
