T and I have only been to Savannah, St. Simon's Island, Jekyll Island, and Chattanooga. We'll be in Jamaica thought for four days in 3 more weeks!
FI and I have been to Washington D.C., Las Vegas, Seattle, and California (Disneyland!) - together. WAYYYYY more trips planned for the future :)
We haven't travelled internationally together, nor have we travelled domestically together at all, with the exception of returning to his hometown (Philly, PA) together. Even then, we traveled separately (I went out there to meet him and returned before him). We do travel a lot though, separately, for work. It's just too bad we never get to do it together. The second trip we'll take together is for our honeymoon. I would hope we do the traveling together then
haha.
Oh this is fun!
We're from Mass ...
States we've traveled to: RI, CT, NH, VT, Maine, Upstate NY and NYC, Oregon, Illinois, Washington DC/Virginia/Marylane (about 8 times total -- he went to school in Virginia and all his friends are in this area)
Outside the US: We sailed the British Virgin Islands and spent the best week of our lives in Ambergris Caye, Belize.
My fiance and I have been stuck in the boring state of Delaware all of our lives, and it's quite an adventure when we make a run for the border. Since we live so close to so many great cities, we visit often. Here are just a few: Philadelphia (45 minutes away), Washington DC, New York City, Arlington, VA, Lancaster, Atlantic City, and Baltimore. We've also been to Florida twice (Disney), New Orleans, and San Francisco last year (first time on the west coast for me). We also plan on going to Canada with his family in August.
Our first trip was to Seattle, then to London, Paris, and Munich. We both love New York but have only been separately. So that is next after our honeymoon in Barcelona!! I think it is so important to have the list of places to travel, it makes saving your money that much more exciting!!
Together...
Europe: Ireland & Italy (though we were living in both, so doesn't quite count as a vacation)
States: Arizona (my native state!) and California.
We're both better traveled seperately- I'm looking forward to going EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE with that boy! He's the best travel buddy.
Our wedding travels are taking us to: Vegas (joint stag/hen parties), and we're hoping to honeymoon in a few eastern European cities... Vienna, Prague, Budapest etc. and end at a spa in Croatia!
We've been to London, Madrid, Sevilla Barcelona & Paris. Domestically, Seattle, NY, Vegas, Santa Barbara, and San Francisco. Ooh, and TJ only because we live in San Diego
LOVE traveling!!!!!!!!!
We sailed through the BVI - although we were not technically dating at the time...
Been to Mexico, Puerto Rico, Ireland and a Mediterranean Cruise that took us to Italy, Croatia, Turkey and Greece.
Looking forward to the honeymoon in Thailand.
My husband and I are from San Francisco. We were in long distance relationship before so we pretty much just travelled between SF and Altanta. Now that we're finally in the same place, I imagine our list will grow much longer :)
So far for vacation: LA, San Diego, Vegas, Orlando, Cancun
This year we will be able to add Puerto Vallarta and either Paris or Tokyo to that list!
We're originally from New Orleans, and live in Denver now... we've been to Arizona (Grand Canyon), Tennessee (Smoky Mtns), Montana (to a ranch on a trip he won from Marlboro), Dallas (one of those trips was a forced exile for two months due to hurricane Katrina - so NOT a vacation, but we took a couple of weekend trips there too). We'll be traveling to Costa Rica this October, and I can't wait!
I have a definite travel bug, and it was actually pretty important that I be with someone long term with whom I could travel.
So far FI and I have been together domestically to: SF and Napa Valley, Martha's Vineyard; various parts of VA, RI, and DC.
Internationally: Ireland and Antigua (but unfortunately that was a short trip to visit family).
He was very cool about me going to Brazil by myself late last year. I'm glad he's very understanding.
Since we started dating (and long before), I've travelled alone a fair bit. Together, less so but so far:
International: Patagonia (okay we started dating on this trip), Peru, Puerto Vallarta, Victoria, Toronto
Domestic (not incl. visiting parents or day trips from where we've lived): New York, Washington DC, Sagatuck MI, Glacier NP, Portland OR, Medford OR
Since we've dated one or both of us has lived in Boston, Seattle, or the Bay Area and my parents are in Detroit so we've had pretty good opportunities for shorter distance excitement (e.g. lots of time in Mt. Rainier NP, Olympic NP, Napa, etc.)
We're probably going to the Greek Islands for our Honeymoon.
I love to travel. My FH is less proactive it, but he likes new experiences so he's usually pretty up for most things I suggest. It's just that my job takes me all over and he often can't get the time off to join.
We haven't done a lot of traveling together, although we've both done a good bit of traveling (I've done more, but I'm a travel fanatic). We've been to San Francisco, Italy, Munich, and the Czech Republic as a couple, and various short trips to visit friends in the U.S.
Well, we met while we were both working in Mexico City, so we travelled around quite a bit while we were there. And I spent two weeks with him in Peru (his country) and that was such a fun traveling experience. We haven't had a chance to tour much of Canada yet (besides, the winter is not a good time for traveling, anyway) but we will! We both love traveling and visiting new places and cultures that I know it's in our future.
Two years ago my FH and I moved from DC (our hometown) to CA. But rather than fly out, we drove across country. Our route took us through Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona (stopped at the Grand Canyon), Nevada (stopped in Vegas, of course), through LA up into San Francisco. A total of five days on the road. An amazing experience that I probably won't repeate again any time soon!
I have yet to travel internationally with FH. But we're thinking of going to Aruba for our honeymooon. :)
Aw. Mrs. Bee! My FH and I went to Spain too! We travelled all over that country (it felt like- and we still didn't get to go all the places we wanted!) We arrived in Madrid, went on a day trip to Segovia (we also wanted to go to Toledo- but the Royal wedding thwarted our efforts!), then we flew to Valencia, drove to Alicante then to Granada -(originally we were going to take an overnight train but it was booked). then we took the bus to Cordoba, took a bullet train to Sevilla- and got back to Madrid. We were hoping for a honeymoon (but with the economy we will patiently wait) to head back to Madrid and travel up to Barcelona then head to italy from there. We are trying to make or wedding emblamatic of the feeling of Spain. And our menu for the dinner is very much what you would see on a menu in a restaurant there. (yum)
We have also travelled together to: Washingtong D.C., Seattle, & Maui, Virginia, (Baltimore by acident due to a diverted flight) San Diego, San Francisco, Napa & Calistoga, up the coast of California to or three times (stayed in San Simeon).
I love all the adventures (and misadventures!) we have gotten ourselves into. ;o)
We've been to LA California...we loved it...we went to Universal Studios Hollywood, it was awesome!! We been to Boston, New York to see Chicago on broadway...if you go to broadway see Chicago! And our honeymoon will probably be in Florida...any suggestions? Mrs. Bee where in Philly were you?
Our first big trip together was to Cozumel on our honeymoon last september and it was great. He was pretty skeptical at first because it was the first time he had ever left the country but he enojyed it and even said he would like to come back sometime. I did have to compromise with him though, so sometime in the next couple of years we are going to Canada to goose hunt, which is what he wanted to do for the honeymoon but I shot that down quickly. lol.
We haven't gone anywhere internationally together yet. Hopefully we'll be going to London for the next olympics (my cousin will hopefully be in the olympics again).
Domestically, we've been to Hawaii, Vegas, West Virginia (for white water rafting), New York City, Philly, Baltimore, Washington DC, ehhh...that's it. :o( More to come though!
LOVE to travel...
Jamaica, Aruba
Live in New Hampshire, so all of New England doesn't really count, they are common trips...We've beento Florida twice, Tennessee, The Outer Banks, Virginia, Baltimore/Annapolis, Arizona (Grand Canyon and Scottsdale for a golf getaway)
My fave place is ST. John, USVI and I look forward to bringing him there... the Baths at Virgin Gorda...mmmm makes me want to put my toes in the sand!
One of the reasons we are so great together is our love of traveling, adventure, and experiencing other places. We've been to St.Augustine, Charleston, Sanibel Island, Hollywood, Disneyland, San Francisco/Napa Valley, Philly, Baltimore and NJ. We live in Orlando and enjoy Disney World as tourists occasionally. We also were lucky enough to take a cruise around a few Caribbean Islands with my parents.
Internationally-- we've been to London, Ireland, and Switzerland and can't wait to see the rest of the world together!!! (hopefully starting with Italy for our Honeymoon =) )
We've been to Ireland , No. Ireland and Belgium . We were barely a year into our relationship , but I was in a wedding in Ireland and my sister lives over seas , it was a perfect time to have him meet both one of my best friends and my only sister and her family. Domestically we've only traveled around our own state of FL but we have plans to travel a lot ( he has a slight aversion to planes we're working on)
International: London; Paris; La Rochelle, France (friend's wedding); Bermuda
Domestic: West Baden Springs, Indiana (friend's wedding); Kentucky (family), Connecticut (family); Hamptons
Ah I love travelling!
We've been to Greece, Spain, Poland, Majorca, China, and Hawaii. We're in the process of planning the 'moon right now. I'm so excited!
We love to travel but FI just graduated medical school so we have not been able to take many dream vacations. We live in MA. We have been to:
Aruba, Napa Valle, DC, VT, NM, NYC, Maryland, OH
Another reason why we have not been to many places is that his family has a house on Lake Winnepeasaukee in NH. So we spend most weekends of the summer and all summer vacations there.
Two years ago (six months into our relationship) we took a cross-country road trip. So that covered a LOT of the US states. What a way to get to know eachother!
Internationally we've been to England, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Hungary, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Iceland. We are travel addicts
We haven't traveled much as a couple. I have traveled lots on my own before we met. So far we have been to the Poconos, Baltimore, and New Orleans. We are going to Niagara Falls and Toronto in April for our minimoon. Then we are off to Alaska for our honeymoon in July!
We love to travel! Traveling is one of the biggest things I look forward to doing with the hubby once we're married!! I live in Orange County, Ca and he lives in Denver,Co so we do lots of trips when we're together.
We've gone to Cabo, New York, Boston, North Carolina, then on a roadtrip from NC to Denver where we stayed in Nashville for 2 days, Idaho, Portland, Wyoming, Washington, Arizona, and lots of mini-trips all over Colorado and California.
While we have been together (only about 2 years) we have been to Canada and Hawaii - where he proposed! We love vacationing and going on mini-weekend getaways so I can't wait to start doing more of that once the wedding costs and down payment on our house is out of the way!
Vegas, Venice, Florence, Rome, Rivera Maya, NYC (where he proposed)
We got engaged in Italy, and have also traveled to Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Malta, Belize, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico and the Grand Cayman Islands. I live in NYC, and we have also traveled to San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Florida, Philadelphia, Boston and Chattanooga.
We have been pretty lucky to have travelled a lot together. I'm from the East Coast and he is from the Midwest so we have travelled a lot back and forth between those various states. My favorite domestic trips have been to Martha's Vineyard, Miami Beach, Jackson Hole, WY and Vegas.
Internationally, we have been to Aruba, Costa Rica, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tokyo. It is nice, because we both have had to travel for work and been able to join each other on trips for work and pleasure so I know exactly what drives him crazy and vice versa. We both love to travel a lot!!
Mostly we go back and forth between Sydney and Boston to see our families. But we have also been to Oahu, Vietnam (via Hong Kong for a day), Malaysia (and Sabah) and various neighboring cities or states for weekend or day trips (RI, MD, DC, PA, NY, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Hunter Valley, Gold Coast, Noosa).
We traveled together to: NYC, Atlanta, Orlando (Disney World!), Toronto, Niagra, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Venice, Florence, Rome, and soon Brussels and Amsterdam :)
And hopefully a lot, lot, lot more places :)

Mr. Bee and I have been to internationally: Spain (Barcelona, Marbella, Sevilla & Granada), Costa Rica, and the Philippines.
Domestically: Napa Valley, Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, Philadelphia, Boston, Martha's Vineyard and upstate NY (most of these were for weddings!).
I went to Paris and New Orleans without him, and would love to go back with him because he would love both cities.
Next trip I'd like to go to Savannah or San Francisco (we both lived there a long time ago and haven't been back in ages).
Where have you traveled to with your SO?
