I’m just over 14 weeks and I think I’m starting to show, so I’m curious how it feels once the bump makes its appearance. Does it feel like your stomach is stretching? Or can you not really feel a difference?

@BabyBoecksMom: Hey there 🙂 I am 15 weeks tomorrow and I definitely have a bump there. I’m not sure I would say stretching but some slight cramping here and there.

I started to show at 4 weeks it was a very hard little bump that hurt if I touched it too hard lol (I was only about 87lbs though)

I never felt anything, I just itched from it streching I think. I saw it growing, but nothing but itching. (33wks now)

Well, I just felt FAT. lol Because your belly isn’t really big enough to look pregnant but you definitely have a gut. It’s really the worst time-too big for regular clothes but too small for maternity. But I do remember that I couldn’t lie on my stomach anymore. Not because it was too big but because it felt like I was lying on a weird little bubble.

I didn’t really feel any different, aside from the fact that my clothes didn’t fit right. But I don’t recal feeling any kind of stretching. I think you start to kinda lose your equilibrium once you really start to pop, that’s always fun. My husband laughs at me when I walk in to walls but your center of gravity is all off, it takes getting used to!

Hm… well, maybe I’m not about to show… although I really wish I would already! haha
I thought maybe this super stuffed feeling I’ve had was how it would always feel and I’m relieved to know it’s not! Guess I’ll keep waiting a little longer for my bump to show!

My bump HURTS me. Like, I’ll be laying down and move to a sitting position and I’m like, ow! Or I’ll bend over and then remember I have to bend at the knees, not the waist anymore. It kind of feels like those prom dresses popular in the late 90s with the really tight corset like top, where if you bent over, the shell dug into you and it HURT. Anyways, I didn’t have a hard bump until about 25-26 weeks. My bump up until then was kind of squishy so I could move it around without too much trouble. I am now just over 30 weeks.

I can tell when I’m going to pop out even more, it feels like stretching inside. I felt fat until about 16 weeks, then my bump turned hard! Now it’s hard as a rock.

I didn’t really start showing until about 2 weeks ago and I am at 23 weeks. Unless I wear a top that is more maternity style you really can’t tell I am pregnant. My clothes still fit so thats a plus

I didn’t really show until about 21-23 weeks but I remember being on a business trip around 14 weeks and thinking everyone HAD to know. Trust me, I asked around and no one had a clue. I didn’t really “pop” until 25 weeks.

I was slow to pop too (though now at 30 weeks I’m all bump). Mostly the belly just feels tight and sometimes it itches like crazy. Every now and then I get some ligament pains which for me were just sharp pains that were mostly off to the sides – love handle territory – not where I would be worried the pains were something wrong with the baby.
