I took my first real vacation in quite a few years. I was up at Lake Tahoe for a week, and it was amazing. I swam every day, finished a good book, finally got a tan, and just relaxed. I want to go back!
Haha! Darn I was going to write an essay! We took our honeymoon at the beginning of the summer ... and I don't know where the rest of the summer went! We've been busy setting up the house and getting settled!
We went to Florida twice (to visit with friends) and Myrtle Beach. I'm going to NYC in a few weeks and finishing up the summer with our first trip to Vegas!
@parasol: Tahoe is home for us, so you know I'd love that one!
@hyena: Essays are fine, but I didn't want you all to feel like this was the first day of school or anything!
@Blueshoes2: Busy travel girl, and not done yet!
This summer has been super busy!
We went camping twice, a week long vacation in Houston (visiting family) and got married!!! My birthday is this weeked so hopefully some more fun before the summer ends!
What summer vacation?! boo me!
I do have a mini get-a-way to look forward to for Labor Day weekend. My BF and I are going to the Sierras. I love the mountains and being in nature :)
I went to Outer Banks with DH's family for a week, which was awesome!! Then next week, I go to Chicago for a long weekend to see DH graduate boot camp!!!!! I'm SOOO excited!!!

This summer we didn't take any one big vacation, but we took a bunch of 4 day trips. We went to Yellowstone, Denver, Portland OR (where I was bedridden ill the whole time), and Virginia for a beautiful but non-traditional wedding.
What did you do on summer vacation... And no, it doesn't need to be in essay form, like on the first day of school ;)
