I live in the Chicago area, and we went to Milwaukee Friday night-Sunday morning.  On Friday, we had a relaxed dinner and went to some local bars.  On Saturday, we went to a baseball game, had a nice dinner and then headed to my favorite bar that is a totally dark lounge and has a prohibition-era feel to it.  Then we partied at the hotel bar (there were a FEW parties at the hotel that night).

It was burlesque themed and we started off at one of my bridesmaids houses for pre-drinks, then went to a pub for dinner, and then went to a bar for the rest of the evening. I had a list of things to check off, it was a great night!

@anghp:  So funny.  I’m originally from Milwaukee and we went to Chicago! 😉

OP: We went for a long weekend as well, got back yesterday and I’m still recovering!

Friday night, it was just my bridesmaids and me, which was awesome.  We stocked up for the weekend and got settled before having a few drinks and going out for dinner.  After a quick wardrobe change we went to a piano bar.  It was so much fun and really great to have that time, just the 5 of us.

On Saturday a few more ladies joined us, and we had a mani/pedi party at a local salon and a quick stop for lunch at Grahamwich (because I’m OBSESSED with MasterChef) before heading to the John Hancock building to see the view and have a drink.  The girls had t-shirts made and I was congratulated everywhere we went.  After that we had a few drinks and got ready for dinner.  They had a veil and “Future Mrs. Sportsguy27” sash for me, which was so cute!  After dinner we went to a champagne bar in our pretty dresses, then went back to the hotel for yet another wardrobe change into sassy clothes before heading to a drag show (insanely fun) and dancing at a few bars at Rush & Division.  I had a BLAST.

TL;DR: I had an amazing weekend.  My friends are seriously awesome.

I will document my night with rediculous pictures of myself… I will spare my bridesmaids.

We started out by opening gifts

And eating penis cake (there was a shot of Kahlua in the middle, accessed via a straw… I will spare you that action shot haha)

Then we went to dinner and a show at a comedy club, where the comedian (pictured below) heckled me to death

Then we hit up a couple of bars and sang karaoke

It was just a small thing with me and my BMs, but it was fun! I never drink so it was kind of a huge deal. haha

@Mrs.Beeloney:  That looks like TONS of fun!!! Love the shot in the cake idea… must figure out how to do that… BTW the comedian, isn’t bad looking either.

I never had a batchelorette in my first wedding. So when I got divorced I threw one because I was becoming a batchelorette again!!! All my friends came. We had drinks and food here at my new place and then we hit the town and danced the night away. We all wore boas (girls and guys) and they had a shiny crown for me. FI was there that night, he seemed to have a ton of fun… I think he was happy I was becoming single 🙂

I was taken to a high end dance club at a horse racetrack and casino. My  MOH (Man of Honor) had the sash all ready and there was a live band playing so when the lead singer/guitarist saw my sash I was called up to the stage and asked all about my wedding and my FI. My group of friends loved it and every so often, between songs, the band would call out my name and asked someone in the club to buy me a drink for congradulations lol. My friends ended up not having to pay for me afterall. It was a blast and the band rocked so we danced until we could barely walk!!

All these bachelorette patrites sound super fun.  I hope mine is at least half as fun as these.  Congrats ladies.
