That sounds really lovely!

We’re doing a weekend on the Cape, staying in a couple of really adorable cottages and doing lots of gossipping, catching up, and lounging on the beach.  There’s a winery nearby, so I’m sure we’ll check that out, and I know we’ll probably do some grilling out.  It should be fairly low key but so, so, so much fun.  Time with my best girls is hard to come by and I am planning to enjoy every relaxing minute!

We’ve rented 2 amazing suites downtown in a major city about 1.5 hours away from our home town. They each sleep 7 girls and have bedrooms upstairs and a livingroom/kitchen below. We’re heading into the city early in the day to all meet up and go shopping before we head to dinner at a swanky place on the ocean πŸ™‚ Later we’re going to a couple of clubs (and possibly to see a comedy show) and then just back to our suites to enjoy girl time and a few bottles of wine I am sure πŸ™‚

I kinda want to go clubbing (I’m 22 so I think this is age appropriate…). I also love the idea of a pure romance party. My problem is that my mom wants to go….umm…awkward.

Dinner at a restaurant I’d been wanting to try for ages and dancing/drinks afterwards.  All local.  My friends threw me an insanely expensive cocktail bridal shower and I didn’t want them to go into more debt going out of town, etc.

If I were to do it all over again, I’d probably hit Vegas and clubs/restaurants/etc – and foot the bill!  But, in wedding-planning-land: every penny hurts!

Our plan right now is to go out the Thursday night before the wedding with my girlfriends- dinner, drinks, club. Then the morning of the rehearsal dinner (day before wedding), it will be me, my mom, my FMIL and future step MIL, MoH, 2 BM’s and that will be our “Bachelorette Brunch” at a nice outdoor restaurant on the water (we live in SoFL) followed by pedicures at a spa. It’s nice because then our pedicures our done for the wedding AND we get a nice, relaxing morning with moms & bridal party but the night before is the fun girls’ night out with friends πŸ™‚ We will pretty much go straight to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner after pedicures (I’m sure go home to change first). Busy but fun day! All of my BP is out of town, so we have to try to condense things into the same weekend. My bridal shower is a month before that, so the other option was to do the Bach. party the same weekend as the bridal shower, but we thought it’d be killing 2 birds w/ one stone if we did pedicures the day before the wedding. Can’t wait!

Two of my best friends and I went to the beach for a couple days. And then after my bridal shower some of us went out to dinner and got a few drinks. Very intimate and casual…just what I wanted πŸ™‚

We are renting a beach house in Ocean City, Maryland for a weekend. Not sure what the girls have planned for me..,but I think there might be a pole dancing class somewhere in there πŸ˜‰

I really want to go to Atlantic City because it’s close enough to drive to but far enough away to feel like a vacation for the girls. The liquors free but the hotels aren’t cheap so this might change between now and then… I think I just like the idea of nothing ever closing and not paying for liquor lol. I was there when I was 21 for cinco de mayo and since were getting married in June I think it would be awesome to go back on cinco de mayo hahah.
