we are keeping it really casual since all of us are on a pretty tight budget. we are just going out to dinner (so that BM/FI’s sister who is underage can still come), then we are going to a line-dancing bar in lansing. we may go to a couple other bars depending on how the night goes. that’s it though!

My girls picked me up, took me to dinner then went dancing at a club. Of course they decorated me in Bride to Be stuff for embarassment! 🙂

I’d probably just take my closest friends/family and go to dinner or LIPS in NYC!

Certainly not going to be for everyone, but right now the plan is to have a Game of Thrones-style feast!  I am not the type to go clubbing or waving around weiner paraphernalia 😉

We’re road tripping to Austin (about an hr and a half from San Antonio) and doing dinner, some fun games back at the hotel, and some bar hopping on 6th Street. We’re having a “little black dress brigade” where all the girls wear black dresses except the bride who is in a bright color.

I can’t wait, it’s this weekend!!!

Roller derby and then out to bars! I’m super excited, I love derby and my FI’s sister who is 20 can come to that part. Oh, and we’re going to go to goodwill and get really ugly/tacky BM dresses for the girls and a terrible terrible wedding dress for me. Butt bows here we come!

I’m definitely the go-out-and-eat-and-drink-and-dance kind of girl, and my ladies spoiled me positively rotten. They did such a wonderful job of planning, and I had the best time! My bachelorette party featured:

  • Shots in my kitchen with all my ladies at 10:00 a.m.
  • More shots upon arrival in the city at a bar
  • Gourmet Seattle food tour (on a gorgeous sunny day, no less!)
  • A penthouse suite at the top of a beautiful Seattle hotel (And thank goodness for THREE bathrooms, because I was barfity barf by the end of the night hahahaha)
  • VIP nightclubbing and bottle service

Also, at my request, there was absolutely nothing penis shaped ANYWHERE, hah.

@imanw:  We went to a town around 5 hours away that had a lot of wineries – they had a trolly that took you from one place to another and back to your inn.  I am not a club kind of girl though so it was perfect for me.  We got drunk and danced all night.  If someone wanted to go home – they did!  Everyone had a sober ride all night because of the trolly.

@mrs_brownie:  I am totally about to suggest that your WP and my WP plan this together and we ALL go line dancing in Lansing!

Anyway, no idea. I requested nothing crazy and no penises.

I don’t know what we’re doing yet. But I know it involves 5 days of fun and an airplane trip. They also told me to bring my passport and clothes for somewhere super warm.

I didn’t ask for this, they just did this on their own. I have amazing bridesmaids.

I really want to do a wine tour weekend out here in Fredricksburg, Texas. We would stay at a B&B

Well earlier in the day I had my final dress fitting and my mom took my dress home 🙂 THENNNN my sister and best friend and I checked into a hotel in the city (NYC) (we all live like 30 minutes away, but thought it’d be more fun to stay in a hotel than go home at the end of the night, got our nails done, and bought some booze and makeup. We then got ready in the hotel while boozing it, and met up with the rest of the party (girls and gays only, of course) for Italian dinner (with wine sipped out of penis straws, obviously). Then we went to a karaoke bar (we’re almost all musical theater people) and belted out showtunes in a private room until 3am while drinking excessively. Apparently we got pizza before heading back to the hotel but I honestly don’t remember that part, haha. Then I proceeded to vomit for the next 12 hours. I definitely don’t plan on drinking that much at the wedding hahahaha but honestly it was a super fun night just drinking and singing, nothing too crazy, no strippers or bar hopping or anything. My sister did bring a 6ft blow-up penis to the karaoke bar and I did have a tiara and pimp cup…
