I wore it on my right hand and switched it after the ceremony. Your left finger should be bare because you're wedding band is supposed to be closest to you.
I'm probably going to keep it on my left hand and have him put the wedding band on the other side of my ering...then when the ceremony is over I'll just switch them so they're on the right way.
i'm keeping mine on my left hand (so the oh doesn't get the wrong finger lol) and then switching it to my right hand soon after where it will stay
Yes, your wedding band should be the closest to your heart. I've often seen brides wear their e-ring on their right hand during the ceremony.
My priest told me to wear it on my right hand. I liked feeling it on there during the ceremony.
I ended up wearing mine on my left hand during the ceremony. While I was getting dressed, I tried to put it on my right hand but it wouldn't fit. Apparently my right ring finger is larger.
I had both my e-ring and band in the ring box with my FI's band as well until the ceremony where we took them out. My DH slipped both rings in the right order on my left hand ring finger.
We used my e-ring as part of the ceremony and had him place it back on after he put the wedding band on.
I was wearing an heirloom ring from my grandma on my right hand so that wasn't an option for me. Instead, I gave it to my mum who wore it on her pinky until after the ceremony when she immediately handed it back to me. It worked out just fine!
I am just wearing it on my right hand until I can switch it after the ceremony!!
I gave him my ring and it was tied to the pillow. He put both on me at the same time.
I wore mine on my right hand. This was the easiest way to wear it, because I could "swap" it back to my left directly after the ceremony so all of our pictures of us leaving the church have my wedding and engagement rings on the correct hand. I'm sure no one else would ever notice it in our pictures, but I would've! lol
Mine is too small to fit on my right hand. My sister was going to wear it, but I forgot to give it to her. I slipped it off mid ceremony and asked my groom to put it in his pocket.
I wore mine on my right hand, and I don't think it looked weird in the pics at all. After the ceremony as we walked out of the garden, I slipped it back onto my left hand over my wedding band for pics :)
I put mine in a safe place as I wanted to wear my grandmother's wedding band on my right hand.
I'm getting mine soldered together the week before the wedding, so FI will just put both rings on my hand at once.

Just wondering what I'm supposed to do with my e ring during the ceremony.
Is there some sort of tradition for this?
I figured I would just wear mine in my right had and switch it after but now I wonder if that will look weird in the pics of me putting his ring on.
So what did or are you planning to do?
