Near my parents house there is a wedding consignment shop that will sell everything from wedding dresses to any decorations used for your wedding. Perhaps you may be able to find one of these shops near you – if you were looking to sell it.

It’s not cleaned  yet (8 months later) and is just hanging in a closet.  I probably wont end up really doing anything with it.

It’s so expensive to clean your wedding dress, my mom generously offered to wash mine BY HAND since she did the same for my sister. My mom thinks it’s outrageous to pay $100 to have a dress cleaned. So I took her up on her offer. It’s now just sitting in a suitecase in my parents’ house.

Mine is still sitting in a heap in the bottom of the spare bedroom closet 🙂  I have no plans for it at all and just haven’t taken the time to figure out what to do with it.

Mine is hanging in our closet, still dirty.  I can’t bring myself to sell it, but I don’t know what I’m keeping it for.

Once the wedding is over, I’m going to preserve it and put it away in my hope chest in case any future generations want to wear it.

I fully intend to sit around watching tv and possibly doing my housework while wearing my dress.

@Juliepants:  ha! great idea. i told my FI if he would think i’m crazy if i put it on every year at our anniversary…

I was originally planning to keep it, but I ended up hating the way it looked on the day, so I donated it to Goodwill
