So, just like the title says... what did YOU eat today?
I'll start :)
Breakfast: Yoplait lowfat yogurt
Snack: Dried mango slices
Lunch: Spinach and salad mix with blueberries & lite italian dressing
Then later I'll probably have some apple and peanut butter...
For dinner I'm making penne arrabiata.
Breakfast: coffee w/ heavy cream & stevia (very healthy ;) )
Lunch: Leftover steak, cubed and stir fried w/ green beans, soy sauce, garlic chili sauce & honey
Dinner: Elk burger with roasted squash & carrots/celery dipped in guacamole (totally doesn't "go" together, but the avocados are going to go bad if I don't use them tonight!)
Dessert: glass of Shiraz :)
Good call on the dried mango slices, I need to baggie some up and bring them to work!
Breakfast: small piece of chinese rice cake, cup of chocolate almond milk
Breakfast 2: kashi granola bar
Lunch: one slice of ham, 4 pieces orange sesame chicken, small cup beef chili (yeah lunch buffet!)
Snack: mini Baby Ruth bar that I shouldn't be eating!!!
Not sure about dinner, going out for an office dinner so I'll probably be splurging on something expensive and unhealthy...
Breakfast: Amp (energy drink)
Midmorning coffee: Mocha iced coffee with skim milk from Dunkin
Lunch: Buffalo chicken salad with a root beer.

Breakfast: greek yogurt
Morning snack: apple w/ peanut butter
Lunch: small salad, string cheese, Subway turkey on wheat
Afternoon snack: 2 clementines + almonds
Dinner: probably something light, depends on how hard my workout is
I'm experimenting with not calorie counting this month. It's been tough so far, I'm so paranoid about how much I've eaten... but I think overall it'll be good. I like the idea of just listening to my body while paying attention to serving sizes.
It's not quite lunch time yet but I had a glass of Horizon's Omega 3 Chocolate milk to take my vitamins with this morning and I'm just about done with my second cup of coffee.
@MissBoPeep: I'm not usually, trust me! lol. I went grocery shopping today and I'm trying to eat a little better, not for weight loss, but just to be overall more healthy.
Bfast: greek yopurt with kashi go lean crunch cereal
Snack: banana
Lunch: Lean Cuisine meatloaf meal, smashed cauliflower, baby carrots and an apple
Snack: 1 coffee nip
Dinner will be a taco salad made with ground turkey, lite sour cream, salsa, tomatoes, cheese and 7 tortilla chips.
I'll probably have another snack between dinner and bed because I'll be running tonight.
Breakfast: yogurt
Morning snack: Special K fruit crisps
Lunch: Microwaved up some Pacific something Hearty Minestrone soup with some chunks of a Babybel cheese in it. A couple of starbursts from a coworkers desk
Currently: drinking a Cherry Coke Zero. Will be having a sandwich from a Jewish deli for dinner as I'm working late tonight and it's being ordered in. Trying to keep my food light during the day to account for that!
I feel like I eat pretty boring stuff.
I was running late today so for breakfast is was a Larabar with water. Lunch I had steamed veggies and a few bites of sweet potatoes (wasn't a fan), I'll probably have some unsweetened banana chips later. Quinoa Salad is scheduled for dinner :).
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, 1/2 c. kashi go lean
Morning snack: handful nuts
Lunch: organic peanut butter on rice cake, spring mix w/ evoo/balsamic
Afternoon snack: baby carrots, cheese stick
Dinner: who knows! Maybe leftover chili, maybe a big old salad with chicken, bell peppers, leftover peas. Maybe TBD
Breakfast: homemade smoothie w/1 banana, OJ, 3 strawberries, a few kale leaves
Lunch: Grilled cheddar cheese & tomato sandwich on whole wheat w/glass of OJ
That's it so far :)
Breakfast: Instant oatmeal
Lunch: Carrot sticks, hummus and an orange and more instant oatmeal.
I have leftover Beef Bourguinon and a salad, but does anyone have one of those days where you are just randomly a picky, picky eater? I made both of them, I know they are both good, but they DO NOT sound appetizing right now.
Too bad I'm working late and will have to eat at least one of them. Or the last packet of instant oat meal stashed in my desk.
*rant over* :)
breakfast: bran flakes w skim milk
lunch: vegetable soup
snack: rice cake
.... i'm hungry now tho :) gonna get a nutragrain bar!
Its about 3 In the afternoon and I got out of bed around noon....oooops!
so far I had:
-a bowl of spring mix lettuce with some cesar dressing.
Currently planning an early dinner! Thinking about going out to get a quart of soup, preferably a bisque from a local joint. We are having big tropical rain showers today, so I'm feeling snuggly :)
You guys make me very feel unhealthy...lol
Breakfast: Cheerios cereal bar & Diet coke
Lunch: Left over cheesy chicken spaghetti, V8, and star crunch
Dinner: Not sure yet - maybe more leftovers! Or soup, or eggs.
Breakfast: 0% fage greek yourt with fresh berries and a banana
Snack: Naked Carrott and Orange juice
Lunch: salad (olives, mix salad and spinach, cucumbers, FF feta cheese, and EVOO)
So far, So Good!! :D

For those coffee, no breakfast, dont eat till lunch ladies, How do you do that? I woudl pass out..
Not the best eating day today...
Breakfast: Coffee w/ milk and sugar
Mid-morning snack: Homemade garlic bagel with butter
Lunch: none
Late afternoon snack: potato chips & cottage cheese
Dinner will be leftover healthy chicken enchiladas once DH gets home from work.
Breakfast: Greek yogourt with rasberries
Snack: Protein shake
Lunch: Greek salad with chick peas; two homemade lemon protein bars (only 96 calores, and they're gluten free, yaye!)
Afternoon snack: carrots and hummus with green tea
Dinner: eggs and ham
Breafast: Greek yogurt with honey and granola ( My FAVE)
Snack: Chocolate covered almonds
Lunch: Grilled cheese and a pickle
Dinner: Chicken Enchiladas
I'm being bad... :(
Had a pear for breakfast and about 3 glasses of water so far... Not sure what's for lunch or dinner.
@bestbuddies: If I eat anything in the morning I'm like a ravenous bottomless pit all day long, if I don't eat in the morning I don't start getting hungry til around noon!
breakfast: honey nut bunches of oats with mootopia milk (it's milk with extra protein) and coffee (mootopia and splenda added)
lunch: flatbread pizza (made with a whole wheat flat bread, tomato sauce, fat free mozz cheese, 1 pineapple ring cut into chunks, and 1 slice canadian bacon cut into chunks)
snack: pineapple tidbit cup
tonight for dinner we're making skinnytaste.com's lemon feta chicken and broccoli orzo!
@bestbuddies: I put heavy cream in my coffee, the fat content generally tides me over until lunch. I also eat a lot of fat/protein in general, so I'm not hungry nearly as often as when I ate a more carb centric diet :)
@les105: right on going high protein/fat and low carb! It'll change your life.
Breakfast: quaker granola/raisin cereal & milk
When I got to work: Cafe Mocha from the fancy schmancy machine
Lunch: 1 piece of leftover pizza, cup of pineapple & cottage cheese
Dinner: Probably chicken nuggets, tater tots, salad, and milk. Lazy easy meal since we're going to the gym and have activities planned for the evening.
Yes, I eat like a 6 year old, haha!
Coffee and a couple of breakfast bars so far, sushi for lunch (yum!) and probably chicken and veggies for dinner.
I had half a Subway turkey sandwich, Cherry Coke, & some chips. I need to eat better, but I run from job 1 to job 2 to class all day (10am-9pm).
Breakfast: banana!
Early lunch: Turkey sandwich on whole grain w/ mustard, pineapple greek yogurt
Snack 1: Cottage cheese
Snack 2: Apple, maybe some chocolate too...still debating. :P
Dinner: ?? I'm thinking DH will want to make wings.
Snack 3: Today feels like a popcorn day.
@bestbuddies: I think they do it by training and a slow metabolism...the longer you wait to eat, the slower your metabolism gets, the less drive to eat
I had oatmeal for breakfast, and a chicken salad for lunch. It's what I eat almost every day.

I have added a lot more carbs back into my diet now that I am in weight maintenance. Squash, sweet potatoes, and honey are back on the menu, but I just try not to go overboard.
My fiance eats the same way I do. People always tease him that it's cruel & unusual that I don't "let him" eat bread (he doesn't want to, FTR). He is so sweet, he always responds "Ummm my fiance packed me steak with horseradish cream sauce and a side of roasted broccoli with garlic- what is there to complain about?" Love him!
Breakfast - english muffin & one fried egg, black cup of coffee
Lunch - small salad & 3 piece of buffalo chicken totalling 4.5 oz... (which I only know cause its 34c/oz and it was $1.5)
@les105: Nice! Are you guys " Paleo" "Primal" folks or its just how you eat?
Breakfast: soy sugar free vanilla latte
Snack: 2 rolos (My secretary keeps them on her desk. It's hard not to take some everytime I walk by!)
Lunch: homemade smoothie with a handful of spinach, a cup of mixed frozen fruit, 3/4 cup soy milk, 1/2 cup low-fat greek yogurt, and a scoop of protein powder
Snack: almonds
Dinner: grilled lemon-pepper chicken breast with steamed broccoli.
Snack: 4 yogurt-covered pretzels
@Minutiae: I definitely never trained myself to skip breakfast, I've just never felt hungry in the morning, and I don't like to eat when I'm not hungry. I eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full.
Bad things :( trying to get back on the horse tomorrow. Life stressors are a little killer right now...
@Eva Peron: Yes, we tend to be paleo/primal/WAP, but we're not militant about it. I love the way we eat, and my fiance and I have both lost a lot of weight and have more energy. Now, when we "cheat", we just feel like garbage.
@bestbuddies: I've never regularly eaten breakfast, not even as a kid. I'm just not hungry in the morning. I've tried to get into the habit because it's good to get your metabolism going, but I always have to remind/force myself, so it's just not worth it to me.
