We are having both our rings engraved, mine with “I love you” and his with “I know” he is a huge Star Wars geek and saw rings like that on a Buzzfeed article.  He loved it so much.  Seeing as how he asked if the groomsmen could be dressed as Stormtroopers this is a much more reasonable Star Wars related wedding request from him!

We choose the same engraving that my grandparents and parents had.  It just says our initials and the date.  DH to DW 9-24-11

I know someone who engraved her husband’s band to say “Put it back on” LOL

@MrsTVLover:  lol!

I asked him what he wanted, and he just wanted my name.  So we just have each other’s first names inside.  Sweet and simple.

His says (from me) ‘to my handsome’ and our wedding date (so he has no excuse for forgetting!)  😉

@lina010:   I plan to have his ring engraved.  Still working on what to have – I will include the date.  Maybe “to have and to hold” or “evermore.”

I joke with him that I’ll be engraving “Put it back on.” on the inside of his ring. Not sure what I’ll actually do though!

@MrsTVLover:  lol I love “Put it back on!” lol that’s hilarious!

We engraved “1 Corinthians 13” only inside his as mine was too thin to do so.

Our song is “Hold On by Michael Bublé, so I had Hold On engraved in his wedding band. I like the meaning beyond just the name of the song.

I loved the idea of engraving something inside of dh’s ring…I picked a bible verse that really spoke to him and I, and just had the number engraved inside…it was a  personal touch and he really liked it.
