Definitely the honeymoon!  I couldn’t wait until the wedding stuff was done so that hubs and I could really get some quality time together.

No one else on the planning?  It was so much fun — there was so much to look forward to!

I don’t know…I haven’t gotten to the wedding or the honeymoon yet, and although I enjoy the planning and know I’ll enjoy the wedding, too, I think I’ll enjoy married life the most. And of the three, I’ll probably enjoy our honeymoon most: I can’t wait to go on our first real vacation just the two of us!!

We haven’t gone on our honeymoon yet (going in November), so I have to say the wedding. I think once the honeymoon is over, my answer will change though 🙂

I loved planning the wedding but I don’t miss it. I loved the wedding day and am so happy with how it went but if I could do one thing over it would be the honeymoon – I want to go back to Hawaii and never leave!

Well, my big day hasn’t gotten here yet and neither has the honeymoon.  I am enjoying the planning process but am so looking forwaard to the wedding.  The honeymoon will be our first time on a vacation without all our kids so looking forward to that.

HONEYMOON! Omg it was so amazingly and relaxing after months of wedding craziness. The wedding day was fun, but it went by in an instant. Time seemed to move slowly on my honeymoon and I got to enjoy it more!

I am one of the small number of votes for planning. I had an absolutely gorgeous, and, in soooo many ways, perfect wedding that cost about $40K, and a dream honeymoon that cost about $9K, and I honestly had the most fun planning.

Due to a number of factors (traffic, distance, holiday weekend, highway accidents, salon delays), my timeline for my “semi-destination” wedding was thrown off, so my DH and I had to miss our entire hors d’oeuvres hour and a great deal of our reception trying to capture photos that should have been taken before the ceremony, but weren’t.  As a result, DH and I never had the opportunity to even greet or interact with most of our guests, and we only were able to dance three dances (our first and last, and the ones with our respective parents.)

I not only feel as if I missed most of my own wedding but also I literally spent most of my honeymoon mourning that fact.  Also, because my venue was 1.5 hours away from where I lived and where my salon was located, and my car broke down the day of my rehearsal and nail appointments and I had to deal with renting a car and all of those scheduling fiascos, and I spent the day before and day of my wedding having to make three-plus-hour round trips to and from the venue, everything felt totally rushed.  Finally, I tried to do too many things on the two days before and day of the wedding and had received very little sleep during that time, so my resistance was down, and I ended up being sick on our honeymoon.

When I reflect on my experiences, the planning was definitely the most fun, because it lasted 11 months, and I was able to really savor each phase.

We had an amazing honeymoon, but I think the wedding itself was my favorite.  I loved our ceremony, and the reception was a ton of fun 🙂  It was a happy, love filled night <3
