@CuteAsAButton:  I had to feed 5 vendors total, we gave them the choice of ordering from the hotel restaurant or eating off of our buffet.

@CuteAsAButton:  my caterer doesn’t do vendor meals exactly but said we can work out a lesser price for the meals I need for my vendors – probably only 3, maybe 4 (if I get a DOC).

Ours ate from the buffet line, after the guest had all gone up.

Our food was served family-style, the vendors got the same options and amounts of food as everyone else, served at the same time.

We had 3 vendors we had to feed – 2 photographers and the DJ.  They got to choose out of the same options the guests did.

@CuteAsAButton:  We let them eat our buffet food as well as dessert (cupcakes and crepes). If we had a pricey plated dinner, I would only have fed the vendors that spent all day with us or contracted to be fed or given a break to eat. Everyone worked their tushies off though, so I would recommend offering food to everyone!

Ooooh good one, I hadn’t thought of that. I imagine I’d only feed the photographer and the officiant and probably from the same options as guests. We aren’t using a DJ or a chauffeur or anything.

@CuteAsAButton:  As of right now I believe we have to feed the two DOCs (we only booked one but she brings an assistant) and photographer. I am unsure about the DJ and his assistant because they said they aren’t sure if they want to be fed? hahahaha Our venue has a specific vendor meal of a sandwhich and fries or chicken and fries so we shall see haha I haven’t even given it much thought because I figure I will ask all of the vendors at the meetings in january what they usually get and if they have food allergies ect.

@CuteAsAButton:  We only had to feed the Photographer (our officiant was my best friend and at my table). My venue had a vendor meal. I was paying $75++pp and the vendor meal was like $25 or $30. Plus she needed to eat quickly, so she prefered the gourmet sandwich they gave her.

I have to feed 9 vendors, the vendors meal is 80$ at my venue. Im considering feeding photographers and videographers hot meals, and giving something else to the Dj company staff.
