Dhs birthday is coming up and I have no idea what to get him. This is his first ‘married’ birthday if that makes any difference in what I should buy for him.
I’d love to hear some of the things you bought for your SO this year!

But in previous years i have got him concert tickets. We aren’t materialistic people and would both rather have an experience. So the concerts were alot of fun we had together.

FI has always wanted the Lego Millenium Falcon, and this year I will be able to afford spending that kind of money on a gift. Just what every 30 year old man needs!

A ceiling fan for his man-cave. He kept mentioning how there was no air flow in there, and I really couldn’t think of anything else to get him that he would either want or use, so that is what he got!

This year, I bought FI a new leather office chair. The chair he had before that was in bad shape and had a gash down the middle of the seat. The new one also matches my office chair.

- Wedding: July 2015 - Los Willows Wedding Estate
My FI bday was in July and I normally dont do anything big for him =/ so I decided to surprise him this year. I took him ziplinning in the San Bernardino mountains. It was soooo much fun. at first he was a little iffy and scared but he then got the hang of it. Plus it was a good time to spend us time without our daughter. It was like an adventurous date. lol

I got him a bottle of one of his favorite colognes. It was our first married birthday too, but we never go crazy with birthday gifts.

Something a bit different this year! We are yet to go on it but it’s valid for 10 months I believe. And I bought him dinner at a lovely Japanese place.

@Pink Asawa: DH loves fishing, so last year I got him a fish finder and this year I bought him a brand new tackle box with some new lures, bobbers, and other fishing stuff in it. I always get him something he wants and needs.

For our first married birthday I made him a chocolate peanut butter cake and got him a wooden wall sign that said “The _______ Family, Est. 2012”.
For the second married birthday I got him a bottle of Crown Black and a copper mug for Moscow Mules, a drink he’s decided lately he likes. I also got him a specific type of dessert he loves. 🙂

I got my husband a beer fridge for his birthday this year. His 30th birthday was a day after our destination wedding so I just brought him a card with a picture of the fridge in it. It’s not an ordinary beer fridge though..it’s a Marshall amp fridge!!!! It’s in his man cave now lol

A set of various beer glasses. Not that he’s a big drinker, but it kinda symoblizes us moving in together and needing more ‘stuff’ etc. I still have to get him a christmas gift… hm
