One of my BM’s and a good friend that’s very much involved but not a Bridesmaid or Best Man are hosting my shower while my Maid/Matron of Honor and other Bridesmaid or Best Man are hosting my bachelorett. I can’t figure out what to get them as a thank you. All of them are getting a special gift for traveling to my destination wedding and for being awesome in general but I want something for them hosting the event. For their regular gift I have their bridesmaid earrings/neclkace sets, a pretty creamy pashmina and a grey/off white chevron clutch – I don’t want to duplicate those things.

I just had my shower this weekend and it had four hosts. Here’s what I got:
- A tank top for my sister with a cute dog theme to it (It says “Kiss My Mutt”)
- A gift card for my aunt to get her hair done
- A dog biscuit recipe book for my other aunt
- A restaurant gift card for my godmother
In other words, I recommend getting them actual gifts and not just stuff for your wedding. Get them something that they’d actually like and enjoy.

I am planning on doing a personalized and meaningful thank you card and then a set if body lotion or body wash from bath and Body Works. I am having 3 showers and 2 back parties, so for the main hostess, I am planning on doing a little extra, just not sure yet. And yes, I’m spoiled!!! 🙂

I stole their pics off Facebook and created shutterfly photo books. I am confident they will cry happy tears lol. Also sign up for groupon and they often have groupons for shutterfly.

I just bought my Maid/Matron of Honor something that I had seen on Etsy and thought was so ‘her’ – so her hosting the shower was a perfect opportunity to buy it.
It was a scarf that was $42. It has text from Pride and Prejudice on it 🙂

@pacNWbride: I gave my gals a personalized Vino 2 Go tumbler off Etsy. They are so cute and they loved them.

I asked about this a week ago I believe and have decided to do a little basket of goodies. A set of scented hand wash and lotion, a smell good candle, a cute little decorative desk item with a saying on it, and a frame that I will put a picture from the shower in. These will be in a pretty wicker basket and wrapped. Also a card with a sweet note.

@ohmybears48: Those are great ideas and you are right, I don’t want to get them something wedding related.
@redness82: SO spoiled!! 🙂 Definitely getting a good card for each hostess!
@lilhenry89: Unfortunately I am no a planner and never remember to order stuff in time 🙁 I’m super lame like that.
@loving_life: That is super thoughtful and I love it. Again… Why cant I remember to do stuff like that in advance?!
@swisea01: @Glasgowbound: @The_Future_KB: All great ideas! I love candles and any type of bath stuff… what woman doesnt… this is likely the road I’ll end up with.
@MrsM914: I don’t know about my hosts but I need one for myself!! 🙂
Thank you for the ideas ladies!

So I ended up getting each a bottle of wine and a big 3 wick candle in a scent each would like…. Bridesmaid or Best Man I also got a banded note book and coordinating sharpie pens because she’s my super organized list maker. My other lovely hostess also got a bunch of trash mags and popcorn and candy as she deserves a veg night like no other. Thank you for the suggestions ladies, much appreciated. **my shower was lovely!**
