In our ceremony, our officiant has us saying our vows to each other that we will write, and then we each have to say something at the time of the exchange of rings.
What did you say, or will you say at this point in your ceremony?

We were given words to recite after the officiant. Something along the lines of;
“I give you this ring, as a token of my love and respect, so you may always remember our bond together”.

“This ring is my promise to honour you, to be faithful to you, and to share my love and my life with you in every way, always.”

We said “I give you this ring as a symbol of my love and fidelity. As it encircles your finger, may it remind you always that you are surrounded by my enduring love.”

Let this ring be a symbol of my promises to you and a reminder of my unending devotion to you. I am honored to call you my husband.

This is what we are going to say:
With this ring, I give you my heart. I promise from this day forward you shall not walk alone. May my heart be your shelter and my arms be your home.

I give you this ring as a sign that I choose you
To be my lover, my partner and my best friend, to the end of my days
Wear it, think of me, and know that I love you
