I’ve almost finished packing my hospital bag and I have a nice pair of nursing pajama’s but I don’t have anything to wear home from the hospital. I’d rather not wear maternity jeans–maybe pretty sweats if there’s such a thing since we’ll be in photos with the baby but I still want to be comfortable.
So what did you/will you wear after delivery? Any suggestions? With my first child, I only cared about comfort and looking back on the photos makes me regret that I didn’t look nicer!

I wore maternity jeans and a new top. I showered, did my hair and put on make-up before we left! I wore yoga pants while in the hospital and by day 3- I just wanted my jeans back!

I wore maternity jeans with DS and a nice nursing top. I plan to wear a “cute” sweatsuit outfit with this LO.

I wore a maxi dress home for my first, and a casual skirt and top with my second.
Just pack what you would normally feel comfortable in, remembering that it will take a few days for your belly to bounce back properly. 🙂

i wore my pajamas home. There is no way to feel cute with a boat sized maxi pad filled with ice in your pants. i didn’t even want to try.

I bought a maxi dress. I fit in it now, but it’s not maternity so I can wear it after too. I figure it will be the most comfortable thing to wear that will still look nice.

I wore a short, cute maternity dress home – the one I wore to my baby shower!

I just plan on a nursing top and yoga pants. I want to be comfy and not worry about changing when I get home.
Though a dress and leggings Might not be a bad idea if it’s warmer out!

Thanks for the idea’s ladies! Hmm, I’ll go out tomorrow and see what I can find. I saw a maternity juicy tracksuit online but it was sold out–I was thinking I could wear it during the first few months after in case my regular jeans won’t fit but then again, I probably won’t ever be pregnant again so I don’t want to buy anymore mat. clothes. I like the idea of a maxi dress so it isn’t too constricting though!
