Our e-photos are being done on October 7th and I’ve started looking for outfits. I’ve decided on wearing dark bootcut jeans and some really cute close toe wedges, but haven’t found a top or sweater that I could see myself wearing in photos. I keep thinking I’ll have these photos forever, and would like to have an outfit that looks classic, not so much trendy at the moment. I’m also torn about getting my hair done or not.
Could you all share your photos? Really need some inspiration! I’m a street size 14-16 so would love to see some beautiful full-figured bee’s.

I was either a 12 or a 14 in these photos. I forget which. We went pretty casual with ours. I did a dark boot cut with a cardigan and jacket. (It was november so pretty chilly) My shoes were only in one of the final pictures (the one below) so it totally wasn’t worth it to wear cute but uncomfortable shoes. Maybe go with low wedges because you will be standing for a long time. My other tip is to wear more makeup than you think you need to because I thought I had a lot on and it looks like I have no eye makeup on in my photos!

My photog told us that neutrals are good for portraits because then the photos are more of you than of your clothing. So we went with grey and black tones.

I have no freaking clue what to wear. I am a T-shirt & jeans girl. So if I can get a nice outfit that looks dressy but be comfortable I am good to go!
I like the pictures posted, that looks comfy!

I wore a cream-coloured top (it was summer) and dark jeans. I loved the top, because I could wear a tummy-tamer camisole underneath, and it was loose enough around my midsection that I was comfortable. Also, it had ties around the waist, so that was flattering as well.
Honestly, I recommend getting a top that makes you feel comfortable and beautiful, regardless of what colour it is/what it looks like. If you are comfortable with yourself and how you look, your photos will be beautiful. Best of luck!

Will your photographer let you wear more than one outfit??? That way you can do one dressy and one casual. Here are a couple of pics from my e-session:

@wifegoodman: You guys are a beautiful couple!!
@Future_Ms.Bostonceltics: I wish I could help out with this but we took our e-pics at the beach. I was barefoot and so not classy lol. What kind of place are you planning on taking your pics? I think that has a big part in your outfit.
I’m loving all these pics though 🙂

i was size 12 Australian in these photos, and have since gained a lot more weight so now am size 14-16 Australian. I wore a blue black and white spotted dress, pulled in just under the bust so more flattering than other styles on me

Here’s some info I got from my photographer’s website that might help as well:
What should I/we wear?” Wear something that makes you feel confident and is representative of who you are as a couple or family. Still not sure? Wear neutral tones with one or two pops of color. Try to stick to the same color palette – don’t mix pastels with bold colors. Bring one casual outfit and one dressy. Try different accessories. Use props – colorful umbrellas, balloons, etc.

I wore a black/white strapless dress with a black bolero. I had red lipstick on. Darling Husband wore black pants and vest, white shirt, red tie.
Sorry the pics are so big!
