What did you wear in your engagement photos?

I wore a black t-shirt & black leggings for the black & white shots. I wore a multi-coloured patterned summer dress & a long purple formal dress.

A little white sundress my husband found. He insisted we match, so he wore khakis and a white shirt.

@happilyeveraftergirl:  We took our e-pics in the fall, and wore 3 different outfits.

Outfit 1:  I wore a sweater dress with a scarf, tights, and boots.  He wore a sweater with a button-down underneath, and I think jeans, maybe slacks.  We didn’t take many pics in that outfit and I think it may have been a combination of it being the first outfit and the fact that I was in a dress and our photographer wasn’t crazy about having me pose in a dress.  This was our “dressy” outfit.  We’re pretty casual people, so we didn’t want to go overboard and wear anything that was too dressy because it wouldn’t suit us.

Outfit 2:  I wore a blouse with a belt and a blazer, jeans, and cute Coach flats.  He wore a short-sleeved button down with jeans and casual shoes.  This was our “nice casual” outfit.  We took the most pics in these outfits.

Outfit 3:  We had to take a few pics in our football jerseys and jeans with casual shoes.

I  had a couple of mishaps with outfit 2… first, I grabbed my only-wear-with-heels jeans instead of the skinny jeans that I meant to grab (in a hurry, they have the same wash, so they looked the same folded up, ugh), and the blazer was new and I forgot to cut the little sewn X off the back.  Neither were dealbreakers of course, but there were some pics that I couldn’t use because they showed those flaws. GAH so annoying!

We did two looks. One was a dapper, retro look and one was a more modern neutral look. Loved having two comepletely different looks for our shoot.

I JUST saw this teaser on our photographer’s Facebook about 45 mins ago, and I love it! So… that’s my outfit.

We also did pics with him in jeans and a blue polo, me in jeans with pink/blue flats and pink 3/4 sleeve blazer. But I like the orangey ones better since we took pics at sunset.

@MissGoldFish:  Yes, thanks!  We took quite a few around the Cathedral.  We’re getting married at Phipps, and you can see the Cathedral in the ceremony backdrop!  I’m entirely too excited over it. LOL
