So far I know my Maid/Matron of Honor is planning some sort of bachelorette thing the weekend before my wedding. I know nothing of what she is planning. She only told me to wear something sparkly. I have been looking for hidden meaning in that.
Tell me bees, what did you wear to your bachelorette/hen party? Did you know where you were going? If not, how did you decide what to wear? Any clue as to why I’d have to dress sparkly? Pictures of your outfit if possible!

I knew where and what and we were doing. It was going to be a surprise but my girls are not good at keeping them 🙂
We did Dinner, hotel, games, clubs, bars, and a scavenger hunt!
I wore this dress
and these shoes (the sole is HOT PINK)
I also had a pink bow and a white veil!
I have no idea why you would have to dress sparkly but my guess is you are going to have a night on the town!

I wore an electric blue one shoulder short dress, unfortunately I don’t have a picture of me in it on my IPad.

I wore a little black dress on my bachelorette party as nothing can be more perfect for the ecent and it looks really sexy and stylish.

Well, this depends on your circle and how wild your friends normally are. We aren’t wild–our “girl’s night out” is normally macaroni grill or sushi haha. But I knew I wanted to drink and have fun with my ladies on my night, so I told them I wanted to go downtown for a great dinner, then out for drinks/dancing fun. They planned the specifics though so I wasn’t really sure what to wear.
I wore a short, really tight black dress with leopard pattern on the front. Confession–it was a cheap dress I’d had in my closet for a few years and never wore because I thought it was too slutty! But I figured this was my ultimate girl’s night out and I could wear lingerie for all my girls cared! They wanted me to let loose, wear something hot and have fun. I wore it with jet black tights and black high heels. They loved it! Oh, and they gave me a bright pink sash that said “bachelorette”.

We did a combined bachelorette/bachelor party. We went bar hopping out by the beach.
Here’s some of us at the beginning. I’m 2nd to the right. DH had a silly top hat and I had a fake veil. 🙂 If you don’t know what you’re doing go with something comfortable! Maybe a sparkly dress or jeans and a sparkly shirt? Most definitely wear comfortable shoes!

@MsPanda: Is that dress sparkly? Where did you get it?
@myweddingbee: I love the sparkle of the first two dresses. Although they are a little short for me. I’m having so much trouble finding something that covers enough (plus it is freezing cold out here!) but is also pretty and sparkly. Plus I’m hoping it’s a dress I can re-wear maybe on our honeymoon. Too much to expect? haha
