What did you wear to your rehearsal/dinner?

I haven’t found mine yet… I bought a cute 50s-style short polka-dotted white dress from Unique Vintage, which needs alterations on the straps.

I think it was this one? (Except it’s longer on me)

Then, I think I was told that I’d have to wear a RED dress to follow tradition.
So, we shall see. I might just wear a red cotton dress I already own if I can’t wear this white number.

Charcoal blazer, light blue shirt, extremely dark jeans, belt, brown loafers. My wus wore a green dress, I think.

My Sweetheart figured out what he wants me to wear at our wedding reception that will be couple weeks after the wedding in his home town! LOL

For winter-friendly rehearsal dresses, a cute dress of your choice and a warm cardigan or bolero would probably be a good choice?

Dresses with silk or wool material would probably be a good choice.

Maybe something like this? (50% polyester; 50% wool)

Bonus is that you can wear it again much more often after the wedding, if you go with non-white options. 🙂 (I don’t think there’s an expectation to wear white; my cousin wore a yellow dress to her rehearsal dinner in 2012)

I wore a cream colored dress from JCrew.  I got it on clearance, and picked it because I could easily wear it again… I have enough dresses in my closet that are one-time-use only!

I was planning to wear a really nice evening dress, but it was hot and I ran out of time to do my hair and make up, so I wore shorts and a tee lol.

I love bright colors and am getting married in the summer.  We aren’t having a fancy rehearsal dinner so I think I will wear a casual bright color sundress.  One day of white is enough for me and it’s enough for our wedding colors and theme.  I’m taking it as an opportunity to wear something different.

I wanted a cream dress that I could wear again, and found this cute one at Urban Outfitters.  We had a casual welcome BBQ for the whole guest list instead of a limited rehearsal dinner.  My hubby wore that very fancy outfit he’s got on in the pic 🙂

I wore this Helmut Lang gown.  Definitely not your typical rehearsal dress!

@BriansBride:  looks awkward because I just put it on really fast just to take the picture, it should be pulled up a little more! but i’m obsessed with it.
