I know this is a pretty general question. But I am really wrestling with whether or not to get a DOC. So I was wondering for people that had them or are planning on having them…what kind of specific things did they do for you.
Did they just make sure the wedding day ran smoothly and you were at places at the right times? Or were they there setting up centerpieces and making sure your guestbook was being signed and guests were getting to the right places.
I know everyone has different needs from their DOC and every DOC is different. But I am just trying to get a feel for what different peoples really did for them besides making them less stressed on the day off.
I appreciate any input you ladies can give me!

im getting married in less than 2 months and havent met mine yet! We have an appt set for 2 wks before wedding to go over final details, oh and we are paying her $1400! The florist usually sets up the centerpieces for you, I think they just make sure the bridal party gets introduced correctly in an orderly manner, im not even sure guess i’d just have to wait!

I am trading DOC services with a friend who is getting married a few months before me… we are planning to meet a few weeks before each of our weddings to exchange all vendor info and what exactly everyone is responsible for, go over time lines, etc. Then we’ll be in charge of making sure all the vendors are on time and doing what they need to do, that they set the decorations up right, that people know where to go, that the DIY stuff is working properly, etc.
