Ha mine looked practically the same as that! I was so bummed out that it was nasty…I’d also spilled some rum down the front in my drunkennes.

Mine was tea length so it looked the same at the end of the night as it did at the beginning 🙂

Mine was FILTHY!  And, also stolen from my hotel room by hotel staff the morning after the wedding (Our $300/ night suite, thank you very much!).  They caught them on camera taking the garment bag out of the room while we were having breakfast with our family.  :sigh:  I’d surely love to have my dirty dress back!!

Totally serious.  I had to get the police involved.  The detective saw it on camera, but did not see the guy leave the hotel with the dress.  The man who took it claimed he thought the garment bag was empty and that he “threw it away.”  I find this very doubtful.  He was a temp worker and this was his first day.  The hotel has not called to even apologize.  It really, really SUCKS!

@Tess63110:  Holy CRAP! Was no action taken? Could you bring that punk to court? As if the bags weight wasnt a give away! No way in hell could you carry off a garmet bag without knowing if somehting was inside and since when are they allowed to throw away things like that?!

The police aren’t going to do anything.  But, I have an attorney writing a demand letter for the value of the dress, which is over $2K.  If they don’t comply, my family (who had 11 rooms at the hotel) will support me in writing appropriate reviews on Yelp and other websites.  But, that’s all I can do!  I’m hoping the threat of honest yet bad reviews against their current stellar ratings will be enough for them to financially compensate me for the value of the dress.  Though, it doesn’t replace the heirloom.  I’d MUCH rather have the dress than the money!
