Good morning! I am planning a dinner date for me and my hubby. The woman who catered & planned my wedding is going to make the food we had on our wedding day again and we are going to have a dinner at the state park we got married at! There’s still details I have to put together, but I have three months 🙂
What did you do? Or what ARE you doing?!?!?!

That sounds like a great idea! When we went though counseling our pastor recommended that we take time on our first anniversary to reflect back on the first year of marriage. He suggested using it as a time to look at what we could be doing better. He said because people change, your anniversary is a good time to sit back and reflect as a couple what is working and whats not working.
We probably won’t have money to go anywhere but maybe an overnight trip would be fun! We have 6 more months!

@caszos: I love that advice from your pastor. And he couldn’t be more right, things change SO much. It just stinks how sometimes the spark isn’t there like it used to be…or your exciting life gets boring because reality kicks in…and me & my hubby are just now starting to make an effort to make it more exciting starting last night! So, that advice is great. I think me and him will have a nice dinner and maybe get a photographer to take casual photos of us while we’re there so maybe we can reminisce on old times.
An overnight trip WOULD be fun though! That’s actually a great idea, I didn’t even think about getting a condo or anything. Thank you for posting!! 🙂

That’s cute, i really like that idea. We went to the missouri botanical gardens and had a nice dinner out, then came home and crashed on the couch and watched a movie.

We are going to go back down to Georgia to the lake we got married at. We plan to (as of right now) stay at the same hotel we stayed at on our wedding night and eat our cake. Then the next day we will hang out at the pool and the lake. It seems so far away but Im sure it will go quickly!

We just got married in September so our one year anniversary is still quite a ways away, but I’ve already started thinking about how to celebrate. We’ve discussed it briefly and I think we’ll be going on a Mediterranean cruise. I found one that makes stops at several of the countries we would love to visit. I think it will be very memorable and a great way to celebrate our first annniversary.
