MOB bought dress (~$700) and kicking in $3000 otherwise. Groom's parents hosting rehearsal dinner. We're covering the rest. Traditional Catholic ceremony at my church. Afternoon reception at a lovely old heritage house that has been converted to a restaurant, and that offers awesome wedding packages that pretty much include everything (food, flowers, cake, decorations, wait staff) and a reasonable price on wine service. Perfect for the slacker bride. :-)

we are paying for our entire wedding and buying a house and putting down 20% all this year.

So far nearly a grand under budget. Only thing we are really sacrificing is a professional photographer as we are getting a friend to do it who has done weddings in the past.
However my friend who is a professional videographer and usually charges a couple of grand and doing our video as a wedding present! YAY
We are paying for the wedding ourselves with no parental help.
Our main wedding:
Expecting 400+ guests.
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Our budget is $50k. For the party only - not including attire, jewelry or honeymoon.
California reception:
Expecting 80 guests.
A hotel, Monterey, CA.
The budget is under $20k. Monterey is expensive and we're doing a full reception. Wearing the dress again, hair, makeup, centerpieces, photographer, DJ, dinner.
Tennessee reception:
Expecting 60 guests.
Someone's large backyard, Memphis, TN.
Budget under $7k. Super casual. Having it catered by a friend, hiring a photographer, minor lighting and decor, table/chair rental, and a sound system.

According to the responses in this thread, most people are getting married in CA & NY, respectively, with their budgets coming in at $34,765 & $44,022, respectively.

I thought having a small guest list would make it a lot cheaper but nope, every place we liked had a minimum we had to meet. This is the lowest I could get it down to for a MONDAY holiday wedding :(
FI who's just starting out in his career is chipping in a few thousand, and I'm paying the rest from my savings. My dad says he can help out if I need it but we never discussed a figure, so it's upto his generosity. Since he paid solely for my wedding and honeymoon in my previous marriage, I feel like he's done more than his part. Not his fault I keep marrying broke guys :)

Me and DH paid for 90% of the wedding ourselves so we had to keep low.
14K paid for a formal ceremony in a church and a formal sit down reception. Open bar but without paying for open bar prices because we were able to buy our alcohol and caterers had bartenders to serve it.
About to book our delayed honeymoon... for 7 days in an adult only all inclusive in cancun is going to cost us 2700 and that includes airfare.
