I know I can’t be the only one walking down the aisle to something different, albeit mine is completely nerdy. I’m walking down the aisle to this version of the Terminator theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtDI1LZw8jY There are Star Wars nerds and Trekkies, I’m the Terminator geek. My wedding date is even August 29th (the original Judgement Day mentioned in the movies).
Is anyone else walking down the aisle to something other’s might consider weird.

Akbridezilla: I do apologize! My officiant and bestie would be so disappointed in me. She wanted nothing more than to have a Harry Potter themed wedding, but alas her fiancée wouldn’t let her. That’s awesome though! I love it :).

I don’t know if it’s weird or not but I used Eidelweiss from The Sound of Music. I love the scene where Captain Von Trapp sings it!

My husband and I are futurama fans, so the wedding party walked down to baby love child by pizzicato 5 (leela’s parents’ song) and I walked down to a version of Fry’s holophoner symphony by 8bitbrigadier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-9CgRmFqIE

We’re walking down to a piano piece from an anime series that is near and dear to my heart (as in, I write academic papers on it, hahah). The meaning of the song isn’t quite… I guess you could say “fitting” for a wedding, as it’s basically about childhood innocence lost and the search in adulthood to regain it, but it means so much more than that to FI and I.

I’m not sure what I’m walking down the aisle to on the way to getting married. But our recessional song is going to be “Could You Be Loved” by Bob Marley!

Considering and working on combining the instrumental of viva la vida with hints of the bridal march intertwined where it will flow without seeming odd … (I used to remix music for cheerleading) im finger crossing i can make it work what little ive started it has potential
