I’m not doing a ton of DIY because I’m not super crafty and I don’t feel like spending a lot of time on things.  I am making this mirror centerpiece platform that I fell in love with on Martha Stewart Weddings, the escort cards, and the table numbers.

i started out with a big list, including all of my paper products… but the last couple of months made me realize that i needed to axe that big project. i also scrapped the cardbox idea and will probably be buying one.

i also bought a guestbook through my photog. i also ordered my dream invite set from a seller on etsy (sondrasink) for a GREAT price.

i’ve made: bridal shower invites and recipe cards

i will be making:

flower girl basket (just using a wicker basket, adding ribbon and some embellishment)

10 small pomander balls

unity candle set (just adding ribbon, our label, embellishment)

“modernizing” my FMIL’s ring bearer pillow

table numbers (the paper numbers in picture frames)

i haven’t decided on escort cards and programs… but they should be easy to mockup and print at my office 🙂

Welcome sign (I don’t know if this is cheesy – might find another use for my easel)

Decor for our candy buffett

Cake decoration (making some big fabric flowers)

Guest cards (not doing a guest book but rather cards for people to write advice on)

Making my little sisters dress (yea! this will be a fun project)

I’m making our centerpieces. I found this picture and HAD to do it. Our country club has mirrors. I bought navy rose petals to sprinkle on the mirror. Then we bought lace, votive candle holders, and flameless candles. All in all, to make 15 centerpieces (and I’m making a few extra lace votives for the cake table) it’s cost less than $100.
