So I have my DJ booked about everything is great. He is just doing the reception part of the wedding. A few weeks ago he emailed me and asked if I needed anything from him. I wasn’t sure. Tonight the FI and I are Skyping with him (isn’t technology grand?!?)
We are 5 months away from the wedding. What should I be asking him? Any tips? The FI and I have compiled music we want shoudl we just give him that list?

@Ice Skate: I would discuss when he will arrive to set up his equipment and you may want to talk about the layout of your space so that he can plan his speaker arrangement.
Discuss your reception timeline with him and what traditions you’re having like the bouquet toss and if you have special songs picked out for these.
Give him your playlist and discuss what songs you want during dinner and which ones for dancing.
Ask him about a microphone for speeches if you haven’t already.
If you have a Do Not Play list you can talk about that and whether or not he should take requests.

@Zusie: Thanks that is all super helpful. He is very familiar with my venue and has worked it many times which is a huge plus. He knows the layout better than me lol!
Anybody else have anything else?
