I love the first idea you said with the tulle skirt and cardigan. It will be really cold so odds are you will need more than just a cardigan though.. Would you be thinking a full length tulle dress or like a tea length? If it were tea then you wouldn’t have to worry about the salt and mud so much. I think it will all depend on the kind of look you’re going for. The second look is more mature, and the first maybe more young and playful. Both are beautiful though!

missjz:  Either would be lovely, I’m just a big fan of tulle and a tea length would be magical. You may have to look into some cute boots/ear muffs/cute gloves/fleece lined tights and other winter things though, you may not need them but you never know if a blizzard will come through!

In love with your wedding! Def go tulle skirt for a little added fashion magic! Space 46 and Alexandra Greco have some great ones which my bridesmaid will be wearing. Can’t wait to see pics! NYC is my fave place!

Love the first photo. The way I see it, you’re never really going to have an acceptable excuse to wear a long white tulle dress ever again, so IF you love that look and want to wear it but are just afraid it’s not practical or necessary, just do it. Wear the dress you want. And who really cares if your dress gets dirty? Are you going to sell it or save it for someone else? If not, it just really doesn’t matter. I think it’d actually be kind of fun. That’s why Trash the Dress sessions are a thing, right? Haha
