We never say making love unless were kidding around. It sounds so serious, and often our sexual escapades are more playful. We use: bang, smash, smoosh (thank you jersey shore), get some, bump uglies, have sexy time.

We like to call it “sensual seduction”.  My husband came up with that.

“Making love” is also another term that we like.

My husband doesn’t like it when I refer to sex as “fucking”, so I no longer talk about sex like that around him.

We usually call it “gettin’ busy” or “sexy time”, I’ll joke that it’s getting “hot n’ steamy” (usually in some goofy voice). I don’t like “sex”, because it’s just so… Clinical. And, I don’t like saying “making love”, because it makes me feel sort of cheesy.

I hate the term “make love” that just feels so serious and wrong for what it is.

I like the term sexy time, or just doing it, or wanna fuck? haha. I don’t think we really talk about it that more, since we have housemates it’s often communicated as “hey babe, want an early night?” or “I’m getting sleepy”

We call it “napping”, started after early in our relationship, very time we decided we were tired and wanted to take a nap, one thing always led to another. Now if I actually want to rest I have to clarify that it’s not that kind of nap!

I almost always refer to sex as shagging – I don’t know other people that do and have no idea where I picked it up.  I’m also perfectly happy to just call it sex.  I don’t say making love unless I’m being silly and saying “luurrvve”.

FI and I are partial to “boning.” Makes us giggle like 12 year olds. 🙂
