That is crazy to me OP!  A small wedding to me is 25 or less.

I think under 200 is a small wedding, but it may be a regional thing. I’ve never been to a wedding or had someone I knew have a wedding under 250 so that’s probably why. There’s nothing wrong with a small wedding!

I personally wouldn’t consider 100 to be a small wedding. To me, 50 and under is small.

If I have 20 at my DW ill be shocked. We r definitely having a small wedding. I couldn’t even handle 50 guests. Id be waaay too overwhelmed and id chicken out of the whole thing altogether. So 100 guests is a huge wedding if u ask me. 250 would be an absolute nightmare for me.

Small to me is one you could comfortable host in your home! So for me, that’s under 20!

Another way to think about it is, what’s the biggest party you’ve ever hosted anywhere? That guest count would be considered a small wedding. Again for me, it’s under 20.

We are hosting 80 guests at our wedding and it just feels enormous! The biggest party we’ve ever had!

I’d say 75 or less is small. At 100 I’d consider it medium sized. Our final count will be 160 or so probably, and I don’t consider that “big” yet. Over 200 is big to me.

Bigger weddings are the norm in my circle. Under 100 is a smaller wedding to me, but clearly this is different for everyone. Everyone I know has huge families, though, so 100 wouldn’t even include both sides of the family for the most part! I would say under 50 is when I actually think of it as ‘small’.

I think under 50 is the highest I’d consider a “small wedding”

I’ve been to nothing but huge weddings in Texas so I consider anything under 100 small, 100-180 medium and anything over huge. I had about 60-70 guests at my wedding.

Since I couldn’t even invite my dad’s side of the guest list to a 50 person wedding, I’d consider that small. Almost our entire guest list is family and we’re still at 150 people which is more than I’d really like.

I would say 50 or under is a small wedding.
