I’m starting a new waitressing job next week (hopefully, they’re still under construction with no set finish date). And I start hairstyling school this September.

I’m a consultant.  haha.  Very vague, but I have a lot of different types of business experience which lends itself to a lot of different types of projects.

That said, FI has ZERO career path right now.  He was a cook for 6 years, but recently went back to school and is still figuring out what he wants to do in life.  I think it’s great that I get to be on this journey of self-exploration with him… and he thinks it’s great I make plenty to pay the bills while he figures it out. πŸ˜‰

I think it’s okay that you aren’t sure.  Better to take some time to figure out what you want, than get boxed into a career path that doesn’t make you very happy!

I am a public information officer at a college. Finding a career path is one of the hardest things in life! Just make sure whatever you do that you love it or else you will get burnt out. They say the best job is the one you would never consider a J-O-B.

I’m a high school ESL teacher.. my FI too is trying to figure it out. I think we all have many different paths in life… I might not be a high school teacher for ever.. but I do find it very challenging!!!

@jboltz19: Whether or not this is correct, I always think of “Stranger Than Fiction” when I hear “auditor.” πŸ™‚
