I tend to have weekdays off, when my DH is working. Of course when I’m off on the weekends with him, we’ll plan things together. But when I’m off by myself, it seems like all I do is clean, haha. Tomorrow is my day off for the week, so I’m trying to brainstorm some better things to do!!
Other than taking my dog to the groomers’, I’ve got no other plans. So bees, what do you do on your days off?

@roweboat: Get a spa service! I like pedicures, but a lot of people don’t like other people touching their feet. Then top it off with a coffee from Starbucks and wander through some shops. That’s my ideal day off!

@roweboat: I tend to just watch movies on my days off, at least when i had weekdays off. Otherwise, I would go to the mall and browse around OR find a free activity to do in town, especially in the summer.
Also, if you like crafts this may be a perfect time to get caught up on some scrapbooking or picture album.

- Wedding: August 2013 - Rocky Mountains USA
Lately, wedding stuff, sometimes while I watch Netflix or Hulu. Blah, I want my weekends back!
Previously: read, go mountain biking or x-c skiing (mountains are 10 minutes away!), garden, clean/organize.

@roweboat: I’ve got the whole of this week and I’m vey lucky as I’ve timed it right for the perfect weather we’re having. Yesterday I did a lot more, mainly gardening stuff and general house stuff. Today I’ve not done a lot just ironing and food shopping. Tomorrow I’m off to my hometown to see family and friends.

Depends. My SO and I have the same days off (weekends) so we have our usual routine. Saturday involves sleeping in, he does ironing while I sleep in longer lol.. then we go to the gym or pool and after we have our McDonald’s weekly treat haha. We then go home, shower, and might go back out to run some errands. The rest of the day is usually spent relaxing.
Sunday morning we clean and the rest of the day is usually for relaxing as well. Sunday afternoon/evening I will normally cook a big meal for dinner that night and for leftover lunches for part of the week.

I typically have weekdays off too…only get one weekend off a month. And DH is off on weekends. I usually end up cleaning too. Laundry and grocery shopping/running errands are my main day off duties. When I have nothing to do I usually end up going shopping which isn’t great for my bank! Lol
