This is kinda the flipside of @ColorCoated's fabulous thread about what our FIs do that drive US crazy!!  Since that was so much fun...

I definitely am guilty of leaving the cabinets, drawers, cupboards-you name it- open when I'm running around doing something!  It drives FI nuts!!  He gets so mad and just doesn't understand why I can't close the damn drawer/cabinet/whatever before I move onto the next task.  I guess it's because I'm SO FOCUSED.  Haha

I snap and blow bubbles with my gum. It drives him nuts! Sometimes I don't even think about it, and sometimes I know it might bother him. I just really like blowing bubbles and snapping my gum!

I am a clutter junky. I am always leaving stuff out on the coffee table, end tables, kitchen counter, etc. He needs to see clear space as far as the eye can see. I'd say that is #1 annoying for him.

I leave my shoes everywhere. He's always tripping on them, and it really bugs him. I try really hard to pick them up every night, but I have so many pairs of shoes that sometimes I give up :)

This was actually part of a fun game we played at my shower. FI had answered a list of questions and I had to guess his answers. Each one I got wrong I had to put a piece of gum in my mouth! This was one of the questions and I totally got it wrong. According to him the answers are "Hoarding cats" and "Being a micromanager". I said asking too many questions. He leaves a lot of gaps in stories so I'm always asking a million questions to get info out of him! LOL!

I too, never close the door or drawers in the kitchen.  Even though one day I clobbered my head on the corner of a cabinet, and made it bleed, I didn't really learn to close them.

But his biggest thing, I think, is that we're opposite sleepers.  When he is ready to sleep, it takes all of five seconds before he's snoring.  It takes me an hour to settle down, so, sometimes, I'm still wide awake and ready to talk when he is ready for bed.

@Quietserenity: I do that too! Poor FI is nodding off and I'm on hyper mode peppering him with stories and questions from the day! LOL!

Me?  Drive DH crazy???  Never...  Innocent

Truthfully?  He has to be one of the most patient men ever to walk the earth but one thing I do that bothers him is I twist my back and crack it. Otherwise he lets me be my crazy self...lucky me!

I'm with the ladies above! I drop my stuff in the middle of the floor or in the middle of our counter or kitchen table, and he needs to have things totally neat! AND, he's the same way sleeping - he's nodding off while my mind is going a million miles a minute...so I sometimes keep him awake with all of my questions!

Sometimes I just don't feel chatty and I want to sit and read.  He automatically thinks I'm in a bad mood and mad at him.  He doesn't get that sometimes I just want to read.  Also, he hates that I have to finish the page I'm on before I'll put a book down.

I fall asleep a lot earlier than him and need a lot more sleep to function and be pleasant the next day.

@Twista- My FI gets so annoyed when I read because he feels like I'm ignoring him!  I too need to get to bed a bit earlier than him, since I work 8-4 and he works for himself and makes his own schedule.  He jokes that I'm an old lady in a hot body!

I too am guilty of leaving drawers open, just enough that crumbs get in. He also accuses me of being messy, but I always clean it up eventually. Wink

Nothing at all  - I am a perfect angel Innocent Laughing

However I have a feeling he's not too amused by my habit of not closing lids secure enough. There was that one time he picked up a pickle jar from the fridge and it crashed on the floor because the lid wasn't tight enough, or something like that, pffft...Who picks up a jar from the lid anyway? Oh yeah, and there was also the time I decided to shake a bottle of salad dressing without closing and got showered from head to toe with dressing, and so did our kitchen table. I laughed a lot...he didn't. Come on, it was funny!

    LOL...where to begin...

I loose my cell phone and keys about every 5 seconds...and he has to find it...drives him nuts...i never put anything where its supposed to go...i make up a new place to put my keys/purse/phone pretty much every day.

I am not allowed to even go near the pantry...because when i go grocery shopping i just stuff everything where there is space...Teddy has it organized into different sections so it drives him CRAZY when i go into it. now i just put the groceries on the table and  he puts it away.

I whine...a lot when im hungry/grumpy...so he always takes me to eat or tells me to take a nap.

Im EXTREMELY  indecisive...i can never give him a yes or no answer...im the "i dont  know...what do YOU think" type.....

Oh God...I could literally go forever...lol

I make this awful face where I smile and curl my lips up, he absolutely hates it!  I laugh about it and he's started to laugh a little about it.  That's about the only thing.

He thinks I talk too loud when we are in public. I on the other hand think I am being quiet. I also have a big problem at staring at strangers. (to the point where I totally block him out in order to overhear what other people are talking about). It drives him nuts.

My neat freak tendencies!  He's a pretty tidy guy but I am a bit on the anal retentive side and it drives him mad!!

Also, my addiction to mindless reality tv shows - with multiple masters degrees between the two of us, he thinks we should be watching documentaries and educational programs, which are fine on occasion, but tv is my time to use virtually zero brain power and I like it that way!

Final annoyance - the number of hours I've been spending on weddingbee lately!   He just doesn't understand...  Wink
