People gave you guys flowers?! I haven't heard of that! I'd definitely donate them to a nearby hospital or nusing home. I'm allergic and the idea of our home being ovverrun in flowers makes my head woozy just thinking about it!
We had a marriage at the city office so nobody attended. I've got a lot of lovely students that have given me flowers, plus my family has been sending them.
Donating them would be nice but I'm in Japan and we have very strict trash and donation laws (Salvation Army has to approve the clothing you are donating and it needs to be in mint condition because they don't want to pay for clothing to be taken away) so I'd have to check if it's ok first!

Errr, I know this isn't exactly what this forum is about but I'll ask it here anyway. What do you do with all the flowers people give you after you are married? They are nice and all but we've got a tiny tiny apartment and the congratulatory flowers are taking ovaaaaaa! Is there anything nice I can do with them that won't take up so much space?
