We have it in a little bucket and cash in when it’s full. I’m thinking we should start saving it for a much longer amount of time.

My parents used to save their change all year and use it during Christmas for a tree.

We keep it in a big vase and cash it in when it’s full. We go out to dinner, something like that.

I usually don’t have cash, but FI does and we have a giant piggy bank.  Whenever we end up with change, it all goes in there.  We don’t have plans for it, so I guess we’ll just keep saving it.

I rarely have any coins, ever. When I do get some coins I just keep them in my wallet for if I ever need them for parking or if I want to go to the vending machine at work. I did have a hoard of pennies in my coin purse and I had nothing to do with them. I ended up giving some out to all my students in St. Augustine for a foundation, so I thought they came in handy!

I used to have a change jar on my desk that I’d use as a vacation fund.  Now that I have credit/debit cards, I rarely use cash and I don’t have any change.  The change jar is still around but it mainly collects dust.  I kind of miss it – I used to love going to the bank to see how much change I had in the jar.

We hoard and we’ll cash out before a vacay (like every two years). We’ll throw cash in there on occasion as well.

I selected three options- We put our change in a mason jar from our wedding centerpieces. DH uses cash more frequently than I do but still not often, and I use the change sometime for the vending machines at work.

We have a wedding fund pot for 50p, £1 and £2 coins as well as the odd notes. For small change I have a money pot dinosaur. I’m quite excited by the end of the year we should have enough saved for our venue deposit.

I’ve been saving our loose change in a bucket since last year’s vacation, so 13 months now. Planning to cash it in as spending money for our Europe vacation in two weeks! 🙂

We never use cash so we don’t have any change.

I rarely use cash, so I don’t ever end up with a ton of change. I just keep whatever change I do get in my wallet so I have it for vending machines, parking, etc.
