Along the lines of the fun thread last night with dinner, what are you having for breakfast this morning?
I just had an english muffin with an egg and cheese on it...kind of like my own, teeny bit healthier breakfast sandwich. Though, I do eat mine open face. And I made my iced coffee from our lovely keurig coffee machine =D
Hey, Krissy! I had waffles. The nutrigrain ones are my favorite.
I have a poptart every morning, unless I feel like going to Tim Hortons & getting myself a bagel.
I'm hungry and also lazy... can't decide.
I usually eat a half bagel with cream cheese and cranberry juice. sometimes I'll do an egg or french toast. I made banana pancakes yesterday because I felt ambitious--- actually really not good :)
mmm, i should go buy some cranberry juice, that sounds really good...or the mix, like cran-apple or cran-peach. and i love waffles...mmm. and what kind of poptart do you usually eat, pmerr?
usually the Brown Sugar Cinamon! :) or Strawberry (which has low fat) or cherry. which ever I feel like getting. We've had the brown sugar cinamon recently.
pita bread with almond butter and a drizzle of honey
coffee with creamer, sweetener, and pumpkin and almond sugar free syrups. Mmm. i have a latte maker but that's for special weekends =]. I didn't feel like pumping the milk today.
I have oatmeal almost every morning. Even in the summer. I love it.
@stephin- i wish i liked oatmeal, i really do. I've tried so many different kinds, it just tastes so bad to me. lol
I really love oatmeal! I wish I would eat healthier, but I never have time to eat a healthy breakfast on the go in the morning for cheap.
Mmmm oatmeal! I ate it last night for my nighttime snack...maple and brown sugar = heaven!
OMG. i was raised on it! It's like cream of wheat but SOOOOO much better. It's totally an old person's food. You can find it with the oatmeals. I like it with a smidge of butter and brown sugar.
It is so good i'm not even freakin' kidding you
I have the same breakfast every Monday through Friday....a fiber one bar and a banana. Rather boring but easy to grab and go!
Today I'm having some Indian Naan bread...I can't remember the name of it, but it is your traditional naan, but with coconut and honey on it. It's really good!
I usually just have wheat toast with honey on it, and a big mug of Irish Breakfast tea. Sometimes I have yogurt too. (always at my desk, at work...I'm not a morning person and never have time to make myself anything at home!!!)
I eat the same breakfast everyday - a weight watchers whole wheat bagel with peanut butter!!!!!!!
@pmerr - I love that you sometimes go and grab a Timmy's - the canadians are taking over ;-) I love me my Timmy's!!!!! The only thing is I go for steeped tea and the american timmy's don't have steeped tea :-(
Ummm this is embarrasing...hot fudge sundae pop-tarts! Very healthy, let me assure you.
Mon - Fri: an Atkins bar with either coffee or a coke zero. Sometimes a grapefruit.
Sat: Usually skip (because I sleep until lunch, haha!)
Sun: Anything goes!! We go out and eat or make belgian waffles and lots of bacon!
mmm food.. what a great topic! I had a whole grain english muffin toasted with cream cheese, banana and cinnamon... sooo delicious, and part of the biggest loser weight loss program I am using to prep for the wedding :)
During the week, usually oatmeal or cold cereal. On the weekends, some sort of omelette, if we're not feeling lazy.
It kind of changes depending on the season because I try to include seasonal fruits in my breakfast each day...
Summer: cereal or organic yogurt topped with blueberries or strawberries
Fall: Big ol' apple with 1 1/2 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter
Winter: Cereal with a big orange or a few clementines on the side
Spring: Cereal with fruit most likely

@future-I hate that Canadian Timmy's doesn't have hot smoothies!! at least the one by Uxbridge doesn't have it! It was so weird to see the difference between the 2 countries in what they have!
I had Frosted Mini Wheats this morning. Other times I have Cheerios. On the weekends it varies, sometimes I forget to eat breakfast and sometimes I just grab something real quick to take with me in the car on my way to do errands.
Depending on what's in our cupboard, I eat a brown bread ham, cheese or peanutbutter sandwich... (gosh I'm boring!)
It's only 7:20am here and FI is making our strawberry-banana protein smoothies with yoghurt, vanilla flavored protein powder, a few frozen strawberries, 1/2 banana, a few drops of stevia, some Benefiber and ice.
Lately (including today) my breakfast has been yougurt with some Kashi Go Lean stirred in. My new favorite yogurt is the insanely good pumpkin pie flavor from Stonyfield Farms.
This morning I had four easy over eggs and toast, with milk and water. All the OJ is gone. :( I usually make myself eggs and toast since they'll keep me going through classes. Yum yum!
Every weekday morning I eat a whole wheat bagel with peanut butter, orange juice, and coffee. On the weekends my FH and I like to make egg, cheese, and bacon bagle sandwhiches, and coffee. I love breakfast, if I don't eat it my stomach rumbles so loudly.
It's either light yogurt w/flax granola or plain oatmeal w/ cinnamon (Doing the diet thing too...T_T)
i eat the same thing every morning through the week - breakfast pita with peanut butter, the pita is amazing, it has muesli in it... yummm, and orange juice and coffee. on the weekends FI makes yummy eggs, could be scrambled eggs with sausage, or these yummy egg on bagel things...
I usually alternate between a bowl of cereal (Cheerios or something like it), plain yogurt with pomegranate seeds, or maple and brown sugar oatmeal for breakfast. I meant to have a bowl of cereal today (out of fruit and not in the mood for hot mush), but now that I think of it, I can't remember if I ate it or not... I think I didn't. No wonder I'm hungry!
I had orange juice and a coffee cake.. not so healthy of a morning today...
i had maple and brown sugar oatmeal and i added some craisins and pecans. somedays i just have some ric chex or cheerios with soy milk, or if im goin to the gym in the a.m i will have either half a whole grain bagel or slice of whole grain bread with p.b. and some jelly and maybe some fruit. but what id really loooove to have everyday would be french toast, pancakes or belgian waffles...i loooove breakfast! i can eat it any time of the day!
M-F I usually have organic oatmeal, rice bread toast or a piece of fruit. On the weekends I either skip and just go straight to lunch, or I make gluten-free organic pancakes! :)
