- Wedding: September 2015 - Hotel Ballroom
6 days a week I have a bagel with cream cheese, and a coffee (decaf right now because I’m pregnant). Every Sunday DH, FIL and I go out for brunch. Right now I’ll have a stack of french toast and a small iced tea (my one mildly caffinated indulgence)….but when I’m not pregnant I’ll have sunny side up eggs and breakfast saugage (two pregnancy no-nos) and a VAT of iced tea.

since pregnant, i’ve been loving everything bagels with butter and orange juice lol i may have also eaten peanut brittle for breakfast yesterday, meh, it happens. some mornings I don’t eat anything at all. i have never really been a big breakfast person but my prenatals make me feel ick (as does the all-day-long-sickness I have) so eating a carb is helping with that

Cereal on work days and porridge on non work days. Apart from on Sundays we have a cooked breakfast. My favourite is ciabatta with bacon and potato scone with breakfast tea.

Right now during the week I’ve been having a pumpkin spice english muffin with a little bit of cinnamon butter, and coffee, maybe a banana if I feel like it. Saturdays are usually an early lunch around 11, and Sundays I’ll make some type of egg meal, pancakes, or waffles, depending on what we feel like. Breakfast tacos have been our go-to lately.

On work days, it’s something grab and go. I make these fruit and oat ball things that are pretty good. Or I’ll make egg “muffins” with sausage, tomato and kale, basically like a mini frittata. This is all done ahead of time so it can just be grabbed in the morning. Neither of us are morning people and we’d never sit down to eat anything in the morning. DH works on Saturdays, so I’ll usually just find something random to eat or just have a late breakfast/early lunch. On Sundays I’ll make something more involved, it might be homefries, waffles, pancakes, eggs benedict, whatever we feel like that morning.

Like you I’m currently pregnant too and I have a very sensible breakfast craving going on – Weetabix. Pre-pregnancy it was porridge or toast, I can no longer cope with that colder bit of porridge at the bottom being pregnant. On the weekend we often have crumpets or pain au chocolate. I would like to try making pancakes one day for breakfast.

Mueslix and yogurt or a dry multigrain cereal with organic 2% milk (tastes better IMO). Every day, without fail.
I can’t stand eating pancakes or waffles for breakfast, my blood sugar gets thrown off for the day. So I’m boring.
I always have a super strong morning latte!

CatyLady : ohhhh pain au chocolate, that’s the one thing I can eat anytime. 😍😂
And in Paris, love that for breakfast and I don’t know why it doesn’t freak my blood sugar levels.

I’m kind of boring since I eat the same breakfast every day but my routine keeps me to my diet. I have a Luna bar and a coffee with one tablespoon of creamer. Plus a giant bottle of water, but I don’t really count that as part of my meal because that would be sad! For under 250 calories I feel full enough to make it to lunch without needing a snack.

During the week I make a breakfast buritto with scrambled egg, slice of ham, cheese & ketchup wrapped in a whole grain tortilla. On weekends I’l have eggs on toast, pancakes, an omlette or peanut butter toast if im feeling lazy.

snowflake8 : I usually have a granola bar, protein shake, yogurt with fruit, or oatmeal when leaving the house, but once I get to work have a cup of coffee and then a while later a cup of tea. I like to keep my breakfast in a rotation(not always in order) so that I don’t get sick of the same thing every day.

Typically whole grain or potato bread toast with olive oil “butter” and some fruit. Most likely apple slices dipped in peanut butter. And always unsweet or mildly sweetened iced tea. If I don’t have much time, I’ll grab some baby carrots and crackers. On weekends normally the same thing, or some oatmeal with walnuts and banana slices.

During the week I have a Quest bar at work, plus a cappuccino. If I am still hungry I also bring along a yogurt. On weekends when I have a bit more time, I prefer to have eggs and bacon or protein waffles!

I rotate through a couple of options during the week:
– Pre-portioned and frozen baked oatmeal (recipes from budgetbytes.com)
– Egg, cheese, and roast beef sandwich on a bagel thin
– Yogurt and a granola bar
On Saturdays we usually go to Chick-fil-a if we’re home and on Sundays we either cook at home or we’ll grab something at Whataburger before we go grocery shopping.

Almost every day I have cereal before work. Some weeks I make overnight oats but haven’t for a while. On weekends, DH makes us eggs and toast. And always coffee!
