(Closed) What do you eat if you workout late?

Its not the late hour for the most part (since you are up a few more hours) but the sum total of what you eat during the day that will make the most difference.  Try having a little heavier snack at 4 or 5, something with a healthy fat and protein.  Then eat dinner when you get home.

EDIT I dont eat until 730/8 after I work out (cross fit from 530-630, plus driving and cooking time).  IE last night I had shredded chicken on a large salad with a bit of blue cheese dressing mixed with red hot. I go to bed at 10.  Focus on the quality of your meals.

I used to have a similar schedule. Can you try making some healthy dinners ahead of time so you don’t have to stop at Subway? I think eating another snack before the gym…maybe an apple and some peanut butter (or anything with a little protein and carbs) around 6:00 will help too. What also worked for me was having healthy dinners ready for me to grab at home. I would either cook a bunch extra on the weekends and freeze it, or just have really simple meals that were healthy.
