I can't believe I am going to admit this- somewhere where it can be read by lots of people, but here goes:
I love liver!
Agghhh- I can't believe I did it! :)
I don't like liver at all, but when we go to Wendys, I love to dip my french fries in a frosty and eat them that way :-)

Gosh where do I start?
my husband thinks a lot of things are disgusting that i eat regularly: potstickers, guacamole, avocados, the list goes on.
@Lolasmomma: I LOVE liver too. Both calf's liver and pate's. When I was little my dad would cook up all the chicken innards for my sister and I so I grew up eating heart, gizzard, liver and neck.
I also really like poultry skin (chicken, duke, turkey). FI thinks that is GROSS.
@missfireslayer: Fried pickles are delicious.
Finally I LOVE Brussels sprouts. I think they are SO delicious and don't understand why people don't like them.
I love licorice! Growing up, my mom and I always loved it and we ate all the black Jelly Bellys that nobody else wanted.
Um.. a lot of things! I like all the new trendy dishes at restaurants like sweetbreads. And I like 'real' Japanese food, not the cooked stuff or tempura or 'spicy' fish. Most people I come across are not as adventerous as me!
I like liver too! Rice with ketchup (YUM), grapefruit with salt...those are a little weird but not too bad. I gotta say, everything you all have mentioned on here so far sound pretty delish to me...
@KatNYC2011: I think we could be friends! I love brussel sprouts and fried pickles as well. When you say poultry skin- do you mean the skin of fried chicken? Cause if that is it- then we might even be best friends!

@Moderndaisy, my husband literally gags when i eat it, haha. You'd probably like kongnamool then! it's the soybean sprout version. DELICIOUS.

Practically burnt grilled cheese
These are a few of the things SO dislikes strongly about me. haha
@moderndaisy: Ymmm... sweetbreads are good. I hear you on "real" japanese food too. I love going to those yakitori skewer places and trying a bunch of stuff.
I will try almost anything at least once (as long as it's not atomically hot or shellfish since I'm allergic).
Seitan - meat substitute made from wheat gluten. I love the texture. I also love tofu and tempeh.
I also love pretty much every vegetable ever, including the unappealing ones. Even as a little kid, I loved brussels sprouts and lima beans. Oh, man, I could totally go for some lima beans right now.
Sardines in mustard sauce! Yum!
And I like to eat various meats people think are weird (rabbit, squirrel, ostrich, elk, alligator, etc.)
I like stuff that's almost burnt. Like when you get that one potato chip in the bag that is so "done" that it's brown. Or the burnt edges of homemade baked mac & cheese.
@Lolasmomma: Fried chicken, roasted chicken, seared duck breast, peaking duck, roast thanksgiving turkey. Any cooked poultry (doesn't have to be fried, could be grilled, roasted, whatever).
@abbyful: LOL omg seriously? how do you even come up with that combination? Sounds interestting!
I love burned food! And I seem to know a lot of people who think tomatoes are disgusting (I don't get it!!) and I'll eat cherry tomatoes by the handful. I <3 tomatoes
@Bubu82: Me too! When I order my bagels I ask them to run the bagel through 3 times or more so it's super brown and crispy on the outside.
Usually anything that ends up stuck to the pan or casserole dish is delicious too!
@Entangled: I forgot about lima beans... those things are SO good.
snow ice cream. :) FI thinks it is disgusting. When you are snowed in and out of ice cream, snow ice is delish!
@missfireslayer - They come that way straight from the can! I just open a can, dump it onto a plate, and eat it! :)

I like raw onion slices. I always eat my FH's onions when he orders a burger. I use to bite into an onion like it was an apple but I moved on from that.
@abbyful: Whoa, I've never seen that before. Do you think most people just eat them straight up, or are they used for cooking other things?
@missfireslayer: LOVE LOVE LOVE friend pickles! I prefer the spears though, don't care for the chips. But a good fried pickle in ranch is one of my favorite treats.
I actually love all dill pickles I could eat a whole jar in one sitting!
@TinyTina: Me too! I try not to because it's so bad for you. . .and people always look so disgusted. I'm glad I have a kindred butter spirit!

@Brianalaura: I will sometimes just put extra butter on my bread so I can sneak a bite of just butter without anyone knowing. Only salted butter though, not a fan of unsalted.
Whaaat??? Why are some of these foods weird??? Or course you put ketchup on eggs?? What else would you eat with eggs?

Liverwurst (I don’t think I’ve ever tried plain liver)
French fries dipped in Wendy’s frosty
kimchi and kongnamool
Ketchup on eggs
Brussels sprouts and lima beans
Rice with ketchup (only when eaten with eggs though)
@surfchiva: My FI makes spaghetti with ketchup and cheddar cheese also! (I thought he was so weird until I tried it!)
I never thought any of that was that weird…
