@peachacid:  Crackers? I guess I’d want to know why my stomach hurts before eating anything else. Do you have a bug?

Saltine crackers are good.  If you are having tummy aches accompanied by diarrhea, try a low residue diet.  High carb, low fiber foods.  Bread, banana, potatoes, etc.

So this is a common problem?

I eat toast and drink hot tea when my stomach starts acting up. For some reason that usually settles it down.

@peachacid:  Hrm. If it happens often, you might want to go to the doc.

Whenever my stomach hurts, I happen to have coffee in the morning…so I know that coffee makes my stomach hurt (especially when it’s really strong). So try writing down what you eat and when you stomach hurts.

Also, take it easy with the working out today!

Eat some light bread, with eggs maybe. Things that aren’t too tough to digest you know?

I hope you feel better.

@peachacid:  Maybe it’s the acid in the coffee?  I usually have no problem eating an egg cooked over medium with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar and a slice of 100% wheat toast (with a tbsp of Brummel & Brown yogurt “butter” spread.)  When coffee is too much for my stomach, I drink Earl Grey tea with a splash of cream instead.

Crackers and a lite soup seem to always settle in my stomach.

I was going to say some toast and peanut butter, but apparently no peanut butter!  Lol.

I get what you’re saying about the stomach thing- for me, stress can totally change how my body reacts to food, and when I was in a terrible job I could barely eat anything without my stomach hurting.  I wasn’t nauseous, I wasn’t sick…it just hurt.  I lived on chicken, sweet potatos, black beans, and brown rice for awhile…

To answer your question, maybe try some good protein, like chicken.  I find that if my stomach is cranky raw foods (like salads) don’t do it for me.  So try and stick to blander protein and carbs (and those will give you energy for the gym too!).  Sounds delicious, right?  😉

  • A banana
  • Plain yogurt with w/e fruit you like and some honey (add almonds if you want)
  • Cottage cheess with granola and w/e fruit you like (almonds if you want)
