My best friend had a feeling she was going to have a boy the first month or so of her pregnancy, then more and more she started to feel like she was having a girl. She was right!
I've never had a baby nor am I pregnant but I'm usually good at guessing the sex of other people's babies (people that i know fairly well or know at least some about them). My BIL and his wife were incredibly sure they were having a girl and everyone around them said they were too. They had even picked out a girl's name they were so sure. I told them I thought it was a boy. I now have a little nephew. So she wasn't right but she's super happy with the outcome.
Everyone said they thought I was having a girl - but I just didn't feel like I was. I actually started buying boy things and putting them away in the closet - then we had our boy lol
My mom knew the sex and was correct with all 3 of her kids. Even when the doc told my mom my sister was a boy, she told him straight to his face that he was a liar, and she was having a girl. She had a real smug grin on her face when my sister came out as a girl!!
My daughter is 3 now, but I *knew* she was a girl.,... would never even consider anything else! I just knew it! and she was!! :) I honestly dont think I'll ever have a boy, that is IF DH and I decide to have another!
I was dead wrong. It wasn't that I wanted a girl, but I KNEW that my son was a girl... my only disappointment when I found out was that I was wrong :) Despite his penchant for high heels and pretty dresses, he is all boy!
I was totally right. I knew from day one we were having a girl. I was so certain it didn't even occur to me to consider the possiblity of having a boy. I was only picking out girl names, looking at girl clothes and nurseries. No boy stuff at all. We found out on Sunday... it's a girl.
@MrsSl82be: ROFL. That's freaking hilarious.
I'm too indecisive. I could never make-up my mind. One month it was girl, next it was boy. I've had three rowdy, wonderful boys!
@zippylef: isn't it? I can only imagine pushing out a baby, then being more happy that you proved the doctor wrong!!
I had no clue. We were team green, too, so it was a (wonderful) surprise when the doctor announced we had a girl.
My mom totally knew I was having a girl, though. From the moment we announced our pregnancy, she was convinced I was having a girl. And she was right!
Nope, thought boy but had a girl. I did dream what day she would be born about a month and a half before.
My gut feeling says I am having a girl. But this is the same "gut" that was convinced I was not pregnant and had no need to test! Clearly my gut feelings are unreliable! But we will find out for sure in a month, so I will keep you posted!
I feel like its a girl, my mom has said girl since day 1 and mostly everyone says its going to be a girl.... im secretly hoping for a boy. Well see in a month!
I dreamt both times my sister was pregnant that she would have a girl. Both dreams were before she announced the pregnancies and both times I was right! Even tho on baby #2 everyone was convinced it was a boy.
She's 4 months pregnant now and I'm 4 weeks, and a couple of days before I realized I was pregnant I dreamt that I was adopting 2 kids, a little girl who was about 4 and a newborn boy. We got to bring the girl home first and I was having trouble handling how excited she was about having a family and a new brother on the way because I was overwhelmed by how much I was anticipating the baby boy coming home. I think the little girl represented either my SD who is 7 and will be very excited or mayyybe my sister's new baby (girl?) who would raise my anticipation for my baby to come. Either way I find myself looking at boys names and talking about boys names much much more than girls'... We'll have to see!
I feel like it's a boy but it might be because I've giving myself a little pressure to have a boy. My husband is the youngest in his generation and everyone else has already had kids and there are no boys yet to date. His one cousin might have another child but that's really it for any more babies besides us in this generation.
But everyone thinks it's a girl.
So who knows! ;)
Everyone around us, including DH and I think we are having a boy. We could care less what it is as long as it's a healthy little one, however. I am only 12 weeks, so I have a couple months until we learn if we are right!
At 13 weeks I kept having dreams that I was having a boy. I felt it, I KNEW it.
But nope, at 20 weeks we were told we were having a girl, and we did :)
I knew I was having a boy when I was pregnant with DS.
This time I'm not so sure... I feel like I've been swayed by the NUMEROUS girl predictions we've had... 1 before we even knew we were pregnant and another before we announced it. It's got my intuition all jacked up. lol
I have this weird feeling that it is a girl, and hubby keeps referring to it as "her."
I am not sure why I feel this way though...
I think I'm having a boy, and pretty much everyone has told me that they think it's a boy. But, at my 13 week ultrasound the doctor said girl. DH and I haven't told anyone what the doctor said, since I'm so convinced that it's wrong. We'll find out the sex for real sometime in the next few weeks. (13 weeks was very early for a definitive answer.) After that we'll see if my mother's intuition was right or not.
3 hours before i had my daughter a midwife told me it was a 8lb boy. i said no way its a girl. i had a 4lb girl
this time everything is so different i am convinced its a boy but will be team green til next summer lol
Everyone was so sure I was going to be a boy, but obviously they were wrong :) One of my friends' family also was convinced she was a boy, and her relatives even bought boy stuff for the baby shower. So she had a lot of "boy" baby items when she was little- her parents didn't buy new stuff because a newborn doesn't really care, lol.
Everyone told my mother that I was going to be a boy, but she secretly thought they were wrong and that she was having a girl. She was right :)
We were team green. At first I thought girl, I have always thought I would have a girl first and we immediately had a girls name picked out. Then EVERYONE started saying they were sure I was carrying a boy. Surprise surpise she was a girl! I think deep down my husband and I both thought girl all along but doubted our intuition when everyone else thought boy.
Everyone thought I was having a girl but early on I kept saying, "could be a boy!" to stop them from calling the baby "she". (I didn't have a preference either way)
On the day of my anatomy scan I had to grab something out of the bag my wedding dress is stored in and I don't know why, but something in my gut told me that my baby would not be getting my dress passed down. I actually shed a tear! And wouldn't you know it, later that day we found out it's a BOY! (and I couldn't be happier - I'm so excited for my little fella)
DH and I feel that we are having a boy...we will know for sure on November 9th!
I feel like mine is a girl.. but we'll have to wait and see. we will be keeping the gender a secret until she is born because I dont want to get bombarded with all pink clothes and pink gifts.
My first baby I felt like it was a boy. I miscarried at 6 weeks, so I don't know for sure :( but I swear to this day he was a boy!
My second baby I thought was a girl. Everyone else said boy, but I said no, it's a girl. Mainly b/c I heard girls steal your pretty, and boy, did she! I gained tons of weight in all the wrong places, broke out like crazy, etc. And now I have a baby girl!
I was convinced that it would be a girl, and was completely shocked to hear that its a HE!
I knew. My mom was really hoping for a girl and said it would be a girl, but I was like, no, I really feel like it's a boy. Sure enough, 2 ultrasounds confirmed it's a boy! :)
I wanted to convince myself that it wasa gir when I had been pregnant, but I always felt it was a boy. lo and behold 9months later, it was a boy ;)
Hi guys, totally new here but just had to respond to this post.
Im 32 weeks pregnant and always knew i was having a girl. From day one I referred to our baby as her, only thought of girls names, planned my nursery in pinks and greens and I did all this before it was confirmed. I just felt so strongly that it was a girl and I couldn't be persuaded any other way. Dont get me wrong I would not have been disappointed with a boy at all.
p.s every single person at my work thought it would be a girl because I was 'glowing'
I started off convinced I was having a boy, then I started referring to the baby as she, and, so far, the ultrasounds say that I'm right.
Were any of you hoping for a particular gender? I was pretty excited to be having a girl but my husband was super attached to the idea of a boy.
I have been able to guess ALL of my friends', but not my own! with my DS, i was certain i was having a girl, and this time, I was pretty sure it was a boy, but its a girl!

What do you feel like the sex of your baby is? If you already know the sex of your baby, was your intuition right?
They always say moms just know, or they have that feeling what there baby will be. Well I really have a feeling its a boy! I'm just curious how many others have these feelings and how right they were?
