I really liked this dress although I really want a strapless..i think, I’m not tally against straps but these look funny, I also find most dresses with straps show a lot of cleavage…
anyy thoughts on if this neckline could be converted to strapless?
the dress was super big and the sales lady told me even if I got it with straps that they cups would still sit oddly up that high on my boulders even in my size… I don’t know .. What do you guys think.. Seems weird to me.

the top is really high up, even with the straps. But it looks like it could be made into a modest sweetheart if you want

It’s a beautiful dress and looks very nice on you. Making it into a strapless is a little more work than you think, but not impossible. When you cut it to a sweetheart, it also needs to be angled under the arm. How is the back – corset, zipper?
Another option would be to cut dress into a sweetheart but attach sheer fabric (illusion net or same as dress) front & back – sleeveless with slight scoopneck & could even have cutout on back.

I wish I had gone with a dress like that with the straps it’s gorgeous! And I spent half te night pulling up my strapless dress. It wasn’t fun I couldn’t wait to get out of it :/

I see it polar oppositely. The dresses without straps is where all the boob-popping is going on!
Your dress seems to be too large for you in the bodice. It looks kinda like a shield frame covered in lace. I am focusing on under the armpits and again right below where you draw the pink line, almost where the nipple would be. I think a dropping of the height of that bodice and a proper fitting would cure you.

It is definitely way to large of a size for me. I tried this dress on again! Though it is absolutely gorgeous it is really low in the bust area. I would want to add extra lace or something to cover up a bit.

I revisited this dress yesterday! I wish it could work. I love the feeling of being in it! so light and flowy.
The back is a zipper but its not a low back or anything it sits probably where the bottom of a bra sits. I noticed when trying it on again that the chest area was super low…LOADS of cleavage, too much for my taste.
…it just seemed like so much work to fill in the chest area and cut down into a sweetheart 🙁

I’m sure it could be converted, but if there isn’t boning and structure in the dress already (since it wasn’t made to be strapless) then you might have to add it, which could be expensive.
Honestly, I’d just find a dress that was originally strapless.

@MrsSkeletonKey: +1 check on the boning of the dress. you don’t want to pull the dress all night long. Pretty dress nonetheless 🙂
